pulled my down position handle this afternoon and the wedge, wedged in a log. When I pushed the handle up nothing happened. The wedge is in the down position and will not respond to up or down handle motion, any suggestions ?
Sounds like your hydraulics are stalled, maxed out. Can you use a chainsaw or other saw to cut the stuck piece shorter? Between the wedge and the stop.
OK Try this. Its possible that your hydraulic valve is stuck. Try tapping - gently - on the valve with the handle of a screw driver. This might break it loose.
Shooting in the dark here. There is probably a key or clamp on the motor shaft that connects it to the pump shaft. Look for any sign of slipping at that point. You may need to remove the pump from the motor shaft to see what's what. If that looks good, I would suspect the valve is stuck.
