P. Pappy, I do like your style!

I'm pushing 70 and still have my 2000 Honda VFR yellow bike. I also have a yellow S2000 '02, with about 28K miles. I've added a driver side heated seat which helps with the old bones :x). No issues climbing in or out of the B3350 (yet).

Looks like another satisfied S2000 owner but I don't see any indication of it being for sell.:D Found a Chrysler Crossfire 6 speed Convertible today at local dealer and after I offered a price I'd give they started raising their agreed to accept price. Last conversation on the phone was a firm offer and no more and no call back today. Had a Crossfire a few years ago and I would really like to have this Black Crossfire but not going to overpay with a dealer that I've bought 20 or 30 cars/trucks from over the years. We'll see what next week brings. A quick internet search has found some Crossfires for sale at same or less price but most with more miles.
Tried the advanced and it wouldn't open before to try and post pics. Will keep trying.

I had two S2000's (05 and 08) and loved them both. One of the few affordable "true" sports cars in recent years. I'd still have the 08 if I had unlimited garage space and a more forgiving wife. But they were wearing me down on my 80 mile round trip commute on the highway, so I moved to a more comfortable vehicle. I'm 6'1" and 210 lbs, and had no issues getting in/out of the S2000.

I would have never thought so many people here would have S2000's. But, it shouldn't surprise me. After all, Kubota owners are well known for having good taste and style. :D

Congrats on the new Kubota, it's been so long, I was beginning to worry about you. If the S2000 fits, you'd look good in that little screamer. I've got a whopping 85 hrs on the RTV and for the last few months I've been lusting over a Goldwing. Maybe my second childhood, but I found a couple in Somerset, but they had rebuilt titles. Too long to post here so I'll call or shoot you a PM.

Congrats on the new Kubota, it's been so long, Been so long....that's exactly what I was thinking:D I was beginning to worry about you. If the S2000 fits, you'd look good in that little screamer. I've got a whopping 85 hrs on the RTV RTVs may not get a lot of hours but when you need one then you need one and worth having when the need comes up. I'm probably under 100 hours, not probably, am under 100 hours but we all, me, wife and grands love it and can't see getting rid of it after 3 or maybe 4 years owning it and for the last few months I've been lusting over a Goldwing. Maybe (MAYBE :laughing:my second childhood, but I found a couple in Somerset, but they had rebuilt titles. Too long to post here so I'll call or shoot you a PM. Let me know if I can help but I don't drive or know anything about motorcycles but I can look, check local references and get you pics.

Thanks  for sending guy wanting a plow. I only read the Kubota forums so never see other TBN stuff, not enough time, especially with tractor pursuits and fun car pursuits:D . I sent pics and lowered price to $250 for a 12" Dearborn (Ford) 2 bottom plow but what he really wants is a disk. :) Can't find access to my past PMs but may show back up. Was going to send you a thank you with outcome.
Located a S2000 near me and may try to go check it out in the next few days and located a MR2 fairly near. Those 2 seem at the top with service availability in my area. Still have 1997 SL500, Mini Coopers, BMW Zs and the Crossfires on the short list.

The BMW Z-4 is a very nice sports car love the look of the long nose, very British if you ask me. Enough power to get in trouble and plenty of leg room. Just my two cents worth

That's what I moved to after the S2000, mainly for something more comfortable on long commutes. I got a 2011, one of the newer designs (previous 2009 and earlier models looked like an abstract art mess if you ask me). I have one of the last s30i models with the inline six engine and 6-speed manual, which is a sweet combination. Now it comes with a turbo-4 (no thanks). The Z4 doesn't handle nearly as well as the S2000, but it's a heck of a lot more comfortable for long rides. Not much different getting in/out though. I suspect at some age I will get sick of that. But for now I hope to keep the car for a long time.

Only issue I had with the Z4 is that the seat's thigh bolsters were too narrow, and would dig into my thigh bones. Fixed that by taking the driver's seat apart and "filleting" a metal bar out of each foam bolster. Night and day difference. I think the original seats were designed for women....

Took Niece and nephew back to Louisville and was going to Crestwood after dropping them off but their mother was running late, she meets me and takes them on back to mid Indiana. Stopped at Bachmans Car dealer on East side of Lou and cruised their lot. Saw a Miata, sat in it and windshield top in front of eye problem of years ago is fixed, no longer comes straight across in front of my eyes because they lowered the seat to the ground:eek: so getting in and out is out. They also had a MR2 Spyder and I sat in it. It to is a bit close to ground for entrance and egress with out falling in and crawling out. They also had a Pontiac Solstice, tried it and it was a bit better but still a bit low. Saw a SLK230 in front of dealer door and asked an lot employee if that was a customers or for sale. He said customers so slowly left since parking lot covered with snow and about to get moving a bit faster and wife and kids said some one hollering at us and I looked and a man is right beside my car. Guess he ran me down to tell me SLK230 bright yellow is for sale, they just took it in from an employee that had owned it for several years, second owner. His wife wanted/needed bigger vehicle for car seat for grand kids. Told him I had to go and was going to make a deal on a Crossfire after dropping kids off but he could call with bottom line on the road no crap price. He did and I did. Just got back home and it's now parked in the garage. Renee called about the Crossfire and I told her I had already bought. Sooo, fun car bought and tomorrow I'll go by Barlows and make my deal and get some cash to pay off the 2 credit card charges that were used to pay for the SLK. One card returns me 5% toward GM card purchase and the other card returns 1 1/2% cash back. Use credit cards often to buy vehicles and saves me a few hundred dollars. They usually restrict how much they'll put on a cc but I didn't have a check for the balance and the finance guy said he'd just charge it all to the CC which was fine for me, gives me another month to come up with the money.:D
Bright yellow SLK230 66000 miles.:cool2: Really need to sell that 2 bottom plow now and reduced to $250, the one in my sig line at bottom.
