Congrats on another new tractor wish I could have that many but cars are our fetish and our tastes are champagne on a beer pocket book. An SL is our dream car but porsche fits right now. Hers is Range Rover Evoke

Never owned a Porsche but understand I've missed something by not having done so. Have owned 3 different SLs that were well used before I got them and they are great riding handling cars but not cheap if they need repairs. I drove a couple of Mini Cooper S (2006 and 2008) today, one auto and one 6 speed. Was impressed and drove a 2004 350Z which was OK but to rough riding (now at 67 owned a few of them when younger and lighter weight) and more power than I want.
Was at Barlows today when the truck arrived with 6 BX25s and the one or one of the ones with R4 tires is mine after they install the thumb and deliver next week. Took pics and will add them maybe tomorrow if I get time.:D

. . .
With Barlows you don't have to be close to KY.:) Marvin retired from the Army so he can deliver Kubota "stuff" all over the country and he does it with a smile and a hat for the customer. He'll bring it to your door or near your door, unload it and answer any questions then take off to deliver or pick up another Kubota somewhere in your area. It's sitting in my storage building today, I'll stop by today and see if my BX25 has arrived. You know the price of the B2620 FEL BH and the only question remaining is how much difference to deliver it to your door and pick up your BX23.:cool2: I even have pics of it new in Barlows dealership with the wheels off and the BH frame being installed.

Dang it, John. Are you trying to make me catch the same disease you have? This potential deal IS making me think a little bit. As I said, I really love my little BX23 but I could use a little more digging power and reach on the BH.

Is the BH on yours the BH65? Any other options/upgrades on the B2620 I should know about? E.g., loaded tires, chain hook(s) on the bucket, canopy, etc.? And I assume it has the 3PH arms and toplink. R4 tires?

I've been looking/considering the S2000. Have never drove one but it is way up on the list. They are hard to find at a decent price. I see lots of car dealers in Texas with lots of really nice stuff for sale on internet. Maybe could get a car brought back by Marvin after he drops off the B. Have him take a bigger truck so he'll have room. Maybe save us both some money. Steve is also a car guy, he says I need a Jeep for fun but I don't think that's me. Made a serious offer on a 1997 SL500 with 59,000 miles in a town near me but haven't heard from them.
67 years old and a hefty 230 lbs....entrance and egress difficulty in a S2000? That's becoming one of my major criteria. Quit buying Corvettes several years ago when I had to start falling down into them and then trying to crawl back out.:D Considering a Mini Cooper and Smart car but reading about maintenance heartbreak. May complainers complain way, way louder than satisfied customers.....ever heard of that before?:D:D

You should try to find one to test drive to see if you like it. If you do, be sure to wind it up to 6,000rpm or above so you'll know what that's all about. I can tell you that it feels a little strange to rev a car up above 6,000rpm. But it has a 9,000+/- redline and it's built to rev.

I'm 62, 5'10" and weigh about 175, and it fits me fine. But I don't know if it will fit you or not. I have a 32" inseam and I have the seat pushed back all the way. But it is tremendously fun to drive (and would be even more fun if we had more curvy roads in my part of Texas), so it's worth a test drive if you can find one.

Well, congratulations! I really admire your tenacity and mental stability to do the things you want and that make you happy.

We will need lots of pictures of this in operation.

Not sure but think it is BH65. Chain hook on bucket in center. No canopy but keep yours if you have one. Does have 3 ph links and hardware, not sure about toplink but probably does, it's all laying in the floor where I put it when I got the tractor and haven't moved it.. R4 tires, like new other than dirt on them but Barlows washes them :D. Not sure if tires loaded since it has BH but sure Barlow will load them if you want. Told Steve yesterday, when I was there checking on my BX25 which was being unloaded (6 BX25s) when I got there.
Steve said Marvin was in Texas a week or so ago but can find his way back. Kubota has special rate financing on dealer sold Kubotas, if he isn't paying you difference in the trade.:D
Tried uploading pics in shop installing BH frame but site won't let me. Couldn't upload some a few days ago. Going to try and load some from camera card now and see if it will do it that way, on my new BX25.

JOHNTHOMAS--I was able to load pictures by going into advance post and then clicking on the attachments tab. Then download the photos to the attachments photos that are stored and THEN post them that way. It worked for me.

I'd also like to add that the BX25 is probably the best small unit around for the work that it will do and the small spaces it can get into. It's really the perfect property owner tractor. Tried to add this to my earlier post but the site wont let me. I wish they would fix these annoying bugs.

Tell Steve that I would be more than happy to do a deal with him where I get the B2620 BH and he gets my BX23 AND pays me something in trade. :D :D In fact, I'll even let him name the amount.

Reading the posts about the S2000 and free revving beyond 6000 reminded me of having had the pleasure of owning a 365C Porsche back in the late 60's- it was a '65, the last year they made them. It loved to rev, and you didn't feel like you were pushing it or abusing it... it just soared on its own, and was happy doing so. There must be a wear downside to that, but again, you probably aren't racking up the miles on it, so why worry? How about one of the new Subaru/Toyota sports cars... they sure review well?

Traded a F-Type Jag to get Porsche more room inside a little better handling fit and finish better. I'm 5-10 210 and fits to a t. Convertable to boot love this car so far 3500 miles worth. Hope your new tractor services you well. Always enjoy reading your posts John Thomas

Congrats on the BX25. If I was closer to KY, I'd consider trading my BX23 in on your B2620 with BH. I love my BX23, but could use a little larger backhoe with a little more reach.

By the way, I sold my last motorcycle (because I figured I had cheated fate too long), and bought a Honda S2000 that I love. It's a really fun car to drive. It uses variable valve timing that kicks in around 6,000 rpm. Below 6,000 it runs fine but when it gets up around 6,000rpm all he11 breaks loose and it just screams.

P. Pappy, I do like your style!

I'm pushing 70 and still have my 2000 Honda VFR yellow bike. I also have a yellow S2000 '02, with about 28K miles. I've added a driver side heated seat which helps with the old bones :x). No issues climbing in or out of the B3350 (yet).
