Time to Chain Up the Kubota

Looks like we might be getting a little snow on Thanksgiving Eve. Time to remove the leaf bucket and chain up the Kubota. I hope our Kubota brothers in Buffalo are stayin safe.

I chained up the Kubota and pick up truck as well as mounting the plow on both of them yesterday. Might as well get ready winters coming even if we don't want it to.

First off, I'm from Kentucky. Saw the heading about chaining up a Kubota????....I've owned a lot of Kubotas and never had to chain any of them up.:shocked: So, I'm wondering...does he have people trying to steal his Kubota and he's chaining it to keep the thieves from getting it??:thumbdown: or DOES HE HAVE A KUBOTA THAT'S GONE WILD so I open the thread to see which one of these two possibilities has caused this man to have to have to chain his Kubota up. Discovered a third possibility that doesn't come to the mind of a southern Ky owner or at least not mine. Go forth and chain they guy up.:thumbsup:

Funny response. I think in any neck of the woods, Kubotas can become a hot commodity, and perhaps they should be chained up, especially as one key fits all.

Actually one key doesn't fit "all" although there is a tremendous amount of commonality. My B21, B2710, M5040 and M9540 all have different keys, as do the RTV900, ZD322 and the KX-121-3 (mini ex).NONE of my keys are interchangeable.

I was implying between the same model--a key for my B3030, fits all the B3030's.

Well- 14 inches of snow time to release the chains and let her go and attack itunch:

I was thinking about getting chains for my L 3800 until I found out I would need spacers.
$ for chains plus $$ for spacer blocks.
You would think the engineers at Kubota would have thought of wheel design to allow additional clearance.
Does anyone know if they have made any changes to the wheels or is this only an issue with R4s?
