The machine has made a positive change for me. Would not have believed it.

Yes, for me, too. Get up much less frequently to go to the bathroom; once or not at all vs. 2 or 3 times a night. Wake up much less frequently. When I go to sleep with the CPAP, I usually don't wake up for 4 to 6 hours. Without it, I'll wake up at least once or twice an hour, look at the clock, turn over, and try to go back to sleep.

Ditto!

Not sure if true or not,but I heard that if you have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and you use a cpap, and are non compliant wearing mask, insurance companies can deny coverage for related health issues,ie, heart attacks,a-fib problems etc, Check with your insurance company.

Never heard that, and sure cannot say it's not true, but I'd be very much surprised if it's true.

To extrapolate you could be denied coverage if you did not loose weight. I did quit using my machine and then developed sleep apnea. I still have coverage. YMMV.

My machine was delivered 3 days ago as I was heading to the deer camp. Its still a bit early, but it seems to be helping me sleep better. Of course, at the deer camp, I did consume large quantities of alcohol, so I'm not real sure how well it's working.

Since I have not met my $5600 Obamacare deductible, I had to pay $323 for the machine and the rental will be $56 per month.

One of the guys in the camp said I did not snore and he could not hear the machine. He said that my wife should be happy with the machine. I'll know more about that tomorrow morning.

Glad to hear it!

Now how would you describe what is different?

Let's see..............Dropping off to sleep almost immediately instead of tossing and turning for an hour or so, when I get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom I go right back to sleep instead of laying there wide awake, 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night versus 5, being able to get a nights sleep when i travel instead of waking up at the slightest noise, and most important of all.......I feel good..........God bless.....Dennis

Well.....after 2 nights at home with the machine, I'm not snoring, but I still have to get up to pee once or twice during the night. When I take the mask off, it makes enough noise to wake the wife. But I guess that's still better than snoring all night.

I still wake several times during the night to change position. And my mouth was really dry when I got up to pee.

Overall, I feel that the machine is helping me to sleep better, but it's still gonna take some getting used to.
