Not sure if anyone has been looking for a loader mounted blower, but, I was discussing one while looking at a new tractor. Turns out one of my local dealers in western NY custom builds them. He gave me a verbal quote of $4500 for a 72" loader mount snowblower with 3pt hitch power pack and rear PTO pump installed. He had a used 7' one sitting there, looks well built. If anyone wants the name just PM me. I have been looking for one when I get a new tractor and this has been the best price I have found yet. I should have taken a picture when I was there.

(I'd put the name here but not sure if that would be against any rules in regrads to adverstising.)

Have an interest in one, can you post pics etc. Also could a catalog / brochure be obtained?
P.M. dealer to me.

Thanks,

From what I've seen/heard, that is SUPER cheap (less than half the price of others?).
I already have mine, but I'd be interested in seeing pictures too.

Cabela's has them in stock for their new tractor line they look awesome. But I think they are much more expensive than that.

I saw a craigslist ad with a cabelas tractor with a loader/hydraulic blower.
at $4500, that is notably cheaper than the Kubota front mount system, which is like $8k and change.

I'd love a loader mount. My sub-frame is such a PITA. Though, i'm getting better......

I'll just put it on here.

Spoke to Craig, he is the owner.

I don't have any pictures yet I will try to get back and get some.
Other than they make them I didn't get anymore details from him. However I did notice the name Lynx on the corner. From doing some searching it appears to be Lynx by Hardy which is a subsidiary of Pronovost. They must purchase their rear mount blower and modify it with skid steer mounts and the plumbing, rear power pack and the rear PTO pump.

If I get anymore info I will post it here. Also if anyone calls and finds out anything could you put it on here.

If you go to HARDY Bienvenue - Welcome you can work your way to their blowers. It looks like the one on the website, other than those are rear mounts.

I was recently at Cabela's and they had one there. It is the Sheyenne Tooling one. I like that there is no large power pack but my concern is that all the cooling is done by the tractor since that is the fluid it uses. Not sure how much of a strain on the system it would be. Would like to hear from someone that has it.

It runs the blower from a separate pump run by a mid pto. Not sure about shoot rotation. At least that's how the one I saw was set up.

I've been on their website several times. Sheyenne Tooling & Manufacturing They have a couple of videos. All the hydraulic fluid used to run their blower comes from the tractors system. They tap into your tractors system. That's the difference between theirs and all the other systems I have seen. (This excludes skid steers, they have the hydraulics to handle things like this). All the other systems have a power pack. Basically a separate hydraulic reservoir on your 3pt and a PTO driven pump.

Here is the one I saw at Cabela's.

(sorry for the sideways pics they are off my phone, not sure how to rotate them on here)

:confused2:
That explains it, I was wondering how they were selling them so cheap. Sounds like a good way to burn up your hydraulic system??? I'm surprised they get away with that.
