Google The 21 ft. rule and maybe watch some utube. It might change your mind. In essence it takes 1.5 sec for an attacker to cover 21 ft. No time shuck a round.

I watched the 21ft rule on YouTube. That was an eye opener. Thanks. That advice makes sense. I'm buying the appropriate holster that I can keep one in the chamber without worry of accidental discharge.

If you carry, as apparently some of us do - there is nothing stupid about it. I suspect that being from Canada it is of no interest to jix. It's a part of life here in the USA and part of our heritage too.

S&W should stick to revolvers. You can carry with one in and not cocked.

Just so. I have a hard time imagining how my DAO 642 could accidentally discharge, holstered or not.
