So how is winter going so far? Warmer or colder?

Are you getting the cold and nasty winter we were predicted to get or is winter a walk in the park so far? Central Ohio was supposed to be worse than last year's Artic freeze but so far it's normal. Maybe above since we might hit 60 on Wednesday.

How are things in various parts of the country? Too hot, too cold or just right?

We are on a roller coaster. Some days above average, some days below. Right now, we are on a 2-3 day run below the seasonal average. We will be above average tomorrow, then below on Tuesday and Wednesday, then way above Thursday and Friday.

Strange warm and dry winter. Even last year, where winter started late and warm, we had snow on the ground prior to the 3rd week of December. Right now it is warmer and drier than fall. Have to wonder whether Jan / Feb will be brutal to correct the average for the season ?

Very erratic. Cooler than normal November. December high temps wavering around average, low temps generally well above average.

We started out very cold but have settled into not a bad week - 33f right now, central Wi.

Above normal temps here in Wyoming. It's actually raining off and on today.

Warmer than normal. The coldest temperature so far this year is 32* one night. Been working in a tee shirt the lastcouple of days.

Well, we are only 70 minutes into winter here, and temp is 40's - so I would say warmer.
However, I reserve the right to change that come Feb.

Warmer but I did hear there is a strong El Nino in the Pacific, so it is expected. I'm a little bummed because this is my first winter with my Massey and I've only needed to plow once.

We had some abnormally cold days and nights in November, but it's been normal to mild since then. Pretty sure November was colder than anything we've had in December so far.
