So how is winter going so far? Warmer or colder?

A couple of cold days back in November here in south central KY followed by alot of rain. Having some time off over the holidays, I have been trying to blow leaves off of the horse pastures that border some pretty good sized trees. If you have ever tried to blow off wet leaves off five or six inch deep grass, you know it's not a fun job. Add to that an absolutely unreal amount of nuts that came off the trees this year. I don't know if the wind blew a heavier amount than usual into the pasture or if the amount of nuts signal a cold winter to come? I think I am going to have to replace the Stihl BR600 with something even bigger if this keeps up, lol!

So far here is N. GA Dec. has been warmer than Nov. was...

It's a little hard to compare. Our temperature is up and down and I'm not sure how it compares with the past. Yesterday it got up to 62 and I mowed the yard, which it needed. And I got both vehicles washed. Christmas morning is forecast to be 33 and we've had some freezing weather already, as well as warm weather. We're getting a VERY light rain right now; don't expect it to amount to much.

Winter may not make its visit this year pacific jet and QBO wrong which fooled everybody. Mild but wet is what we get

We had some abnormally cold days and nights in November, but it's been normal to mild since then. Pretty sure November was colder than anything we've had in December so far.

They are probably still digging out from the 7' lake effect snow fall in November!
If you didn't happen to be in that lake effect band the winter has been fairly tame although November was cold.
