-don't have to buy rats and snakes from the pet store for his owls!
Hey, if we're going down the capitol punishment lane.... what's the difference? Personally, I'd rather be beheaded in a guillotine than injected, electrocuted, hung, shot, etc... the head comes off, I'm dead.Soooooooo ... some will see beheading undesirable humans as "normal", while others will see it as being a tad "callous." OK then ....
No sir - there are standards of decency to which ALL should be held accountable.
I agree, I don't like to see any animal or human suffer. As the higher level of being on earth, we have the obligation to see to it that all animals we are responsible for do not suffer needlessly due to our inactions or actions.
My point was is that the jury is still not in (and may never be) on who was actually here first...just because some "walked" (and stayed) here does not make them indigenous i.e., "native" or even being the first ones to "visit"...
There is strong evidence that some of the first migrations of humans into N.A. came from South and Central America...and not across the Bearing Land Bridge...Thus the adamant refusal of the current "native American' lobby to flat out ignore/deny forensic archaeological facts (and DNA) that proves that Mayans (and possibly Aztecs) may have ventured into N.A. long before the northern tribes/clans...
I am not disputing the atrocities against what are commonly referred to as "native Americans" the Europeans etc. brought on them...but IMO the treatment of the (native American) masses by their own leadership greatly over shadows said atrocities by white/European etc. "interlopers"...
N.A. Tribes today are raking in mega-billions of dollars via relaxed tax rights (casinos, tobacco etc.) etc....yet none of that money seems to reach their masses...the lower classes of a large percentage of contemporary native Americans are as or more indigent than any other minorities...
IMO...I think there should be an independent foundation/trust that should be responsible for the distribution of revenue generated by said tax/regulation/exemptions etc...IMO, the populations of current "native Americans" are being treated much worse today, under the power of their own people/leadership and is worse today or as bad as the treatment by early European etc. societies/establishments in the past...
He said with the smirky faced emoticon... hahahaaaSometimes "implied" action appears to be "normal" to one person and not normal to another. The obstacle this thread can't seem to get over is taking one liners and twisting them to fit our own individual ideas.![]()
Well stated. I respect your statements. Just as you accept and respect other's choices. That's something this thread has been short of. Well stated.
Oh my God,,,, is he suggesting that it's okay to feed his cats to the owls????![]()

Not many people respect or accept someone's choice to let animals suffer. If I see someone beating a dog, I say something. If I see someone beating a cat, I say something. If I see somebody letting cats reproduce uncontrollably, not vaccinating them and letting them suffer, I say something. The reason this thread has been short of acceptance is because the practice is unacceptable.
