The interest rate and the banks are around 9 to 10% on unsecure loans. compared to a new tractor is 0 to 5%. It's a Catch-22 do you buy a used with hours and possible problems or new.

Thanks James. I am the same way trying to find bargains it doesn't happen for me. plus it comes with a 5 year warranty. I just am trying to make sure I am not overpaying for it. All this research... its worst then looking at a new truck. :)

Avillahdw. Have you had any problems with this brand?

Have you decided what transmission you really want? I am a big hydrostatic supporter, but that fits me for all the things I do. I have owned several tractors, and it depends on what you are going to do with it, to help determine what you can live with. Also, how strong is you left knee?:) If you are mostly looking at doing field mowing, then a standard manual transmission is fine. For loader work it is hard to beat a hydro.

How is your Kioti representation near you? Their new NX models go up to 60 horsepower equipped with hydro's now. Both Kioti, and LS are the "up and comers" here in the US now.

Thank you for the reply and I agree with everything that you all or saying. I do understand comparing the two different types of HP is comparing apples to oranges. What got me to this point is the price. looking at a 30's HP and the owner offers you a 55 HP for the same price. Still researching the area for work and what size is best. I can get two accounts now with open fields and I'm looking at contracts in the area to more. Used tractors in this area is like buying a new one the price is just insane.
The dealer offered a K series for the price of a G series?

Look at RCOs page. Its only a 20.00/month increase from a G3038h to the first K series. Simple transmision. Bare bones tractor. If size is not an issue for where the work needs performed and the OP can use the HP, I say take it. RCO Tractor - America's #1 LS Tractor Dealer - Compact & Utility Tractors on sale now!
$244 H drive 4 wheel for G $272 G drive 2 wheel drive for K5055 $317 G drive 4 wheel drive for K 5055 I guess he is getting a good price I just asked. He was looking at the K5055
