I've often wondered if Barlows would be competitive with the shipping costs to Michigan. Are they using their own truck to deliver or using a shipper?

If you haven't heard of ratchet rake, you may want to look into it.

BX2370. Brady was thinking $300 to $400 to ship. We included most of that cost into the deal. The price was well below anything I could find around here so it worked out for me.

Not sure if their own or someone else's truck. I asked them to wrap the tractor to protect it from road salt.

Well, I'm not testing driving -- looks like I will be picking up a lightly used unit from Barlow's. They will ship it up to me here in MI. They will change the fluids and filter just to be sure. They are cheaper than any individual I saw in any of the nearby states -- kudos to them. I checked out a 1025R last night and while it is a good looking tractor with a lot of features it just seemed too expensive, too much plastic, and it seemed much more of a large mower than a loader tractor. It has better ergonomics, to me, then the Kubota but it didn't warrant the price increase and potential mechanical issues I have read about (auto connect, loader valve, etc.).

No onward to the fun part -- buying other stuff for the tractor. I am thinking a skidplate from BXpanded is a must have? Maybe also the cutting edge for the bucket? This summer I am going to keep an eye out for one of those non-permanent vinyl cabs -- I don't want a regular cab and want the ability to remove it in the non-winter months.

:thumbsup: RatchetRake is my most used implement after the FEL and BH. I was there Friday when Gary was taking pics of several used machines which I had surmised that Steve was going to offer some great prices on used machines which he owns. I believe the B2620 FEL BH with 75 hours (I did 50 hour service) was still there and he may be below the $18,000 price now. He also has the remote controlled RTV, Tractor with FEL BH and a black truck with a tractor on the trailer that makes engine sounds and the lights light up for around $32.I bought the tractor and RTV for my Grands for Christmas.

Just wanted to provide an update. Thanks for the help, guys. She is here! 2013 BX2370 with 129 hours and ~6 months of remaining warranty. Purchased from Barlow's. I recommend everyone checking with them before buying a tractor. They easily beat my local dealers.

That is a sweet little machine! Based I what I have read, you will find it more than capable.

A local guy here, who was a Kubota dealer, is selling off old inventory, including tire chains, so if you think you need some, PM me with your tire size, and I will get back to you. His prices are less than half retail- much less.
