I hope you are documenting all these little forest fires you have to put out.
Perhaps that's because I often write about Life's little travails (aka adventures) ...It seems every time you go to do something you have to fix something else first.
I'm guessin' because that compressor is in the (unheated) garage ... and it's only a couple of degrees F out ...Why did the compressor trip the breaker?
Now that's an example of a dominant wet *****!Cats are very much individuals ...
With the one cat it's THE HAND - she can never get enough. With her brother, it's THE LAP ... especially if said LAP is in close proximity to a heating appliance.

Try to load or otherwise tend the wood furnace and it's like he has radar ... he could be stone-cold sound asleep at the other end of the house and if the door to the furnace is opened he'll be there inside of 60 seconds ... usually meowing if the lap is not made immediately available.

If any petting occurs while in this state of toasted comfort, the certain result is massive amounts of drool. You'd think he'd died and gone to Cat Heaven.
