Yup that thing looks like if you bought it, it would just sit, brokedown. Show it somewhere without junk in the background, actually doing something useful for example with some heavy item lifted in the air.

Washington licenses all trailers, Oregon only those above 1800 GVW. I'm near the border, but most of those unlicensed ones I see are in WA, since I look for those that are licensed, in the WA section of CL. Some of the trailers probably helped people move from OR to WA, then the trailer is advertised for sale in WA.

The tiny HF trailers need plates here. And a 'roadworthy' inspection at DMV to get the plate. Same as getting plates for any home-built trailer, or for a salvage-title vehicle that is being put back on the road. The good news is, for a utility trailer they issue a non-expiring plate.

I tried walking in with the 5 ft, 15 lb tongue for my 40x48 inch $125 HF trailer to show DMV the VIN tag riveted to it and get plates. Nope, this wasn't sufficient proof that the trailer exists, I had to finish building it, make an appointment, and tow it through the inspection line. I'm not sure whose interest they are protecting when that VIN tag declares conformance to some federal spec and that the whole trailer is 125 lbs empty.

Check out this forklift listed locally for the last two or three years, No kidding, recently he lowered the price $25, like $1900 did not work for 2 years, lets try $1875. Makes me chuckle. I think if he pulled it out of the mud, took off the tire chains and removed the patio umbrella and listed it for $1200 it would be sold. The picture just speaks volumes.....

Exactly, and the tire chains. They just scream "this thing is worthless, it's so stuck I can't even get it out to take a picture in any other condition".

i did that with my truck ..invested . and got nothing for it lmao they think after using it for all thoughs years the should get the same or more money ,,there are real nuts out there...

The one that makes me laugh every time I read it is "Invested $XXXXX. Must sacrifice $YYYY."
