Interesting point on the forward facing lights. I have considered mounting some to the loader arms

Quite a bit of the loader frame on the B7500 stayed on the tractor at all times. That lent itself to mounting the forward-facing lights on it as shown below. The L3200 loader frame doesn't provide a spot I liked for mounting lights.

I
Have used most every method of snow removal. Shovel, pickup with plow, open tractor with 3 point blower, cabbed tractor with 3 point blower, walk behind blower, tractors with loaders.
By far the current setup of heated cab skid steer with 73 inch blower is my favorite. To those disappointed by not having many opportunities this winter, I'd trade places with you. At age 52, snow removal is just another chore. I'm not that interested in "seat time". Funny how guys talk about that like they're NASCAR drivers or something. Snow removal is just more diesel burned and more hours racked up on the machine.

I have a Cat246 with tracks.it is not hi flow and I had thought about a blower for it. I'm told a non hi flow
Does not work that well and that if the snow is the least bit wet,it will continually clog the chute. Do you have any experience to add ?

I sure am. Ditched the plow and and am having a blast hammering on all the snow we've gotten. Ordered edge tamers for the bucket this weekend too. We get drifted in like crazy so the blower saves the day!

I'M NOT! ....... I'm glad I went to a snowblower 20 years ago, and I'm even gladder I went to HST 11 years ago. :cool2:

I agree chim - other than the fact I have an open station... makes it a little tougher.

I have considered mounting a pair to the ROPS; just havent figured out how I want to yet.

Here's a sketch of something similar to how mine are mounted but without tying up the ROPS bolt holes. A couple short lieces of 1-1/2" angle and U-bolts is all it takes. The sketch shows the lights aimed "cross-eyed" for no real reason other than mine are pointed that way and my brain was on autopilot when I did the sketch. Due to the short angle brackets I used, my lights won't rotate outward far enough for good light distribution. Solution was to rotate them inward and it worked fine.

I bought a JD 1332PE six years ago. It wasn't cheap but it's been worth every penny. Whoever invented heated grips deserved a raise. Then my wife got tired of seeing me covered in snow so she bought me the JD soft cab/surround one Christmas. I reluctantly put it together and attached it to the machine and I was amazed at what a difference it made. The only drawback is I got a JD 2720 a few years later and now I can't justify putting a front-mount snowblower on it because I already have a beautiful walk-behind machine.

Oh…and the reason that wire is hanging off to the side is the headlight bulb needed replacing.

You can justify anything! The walk behind for walkways or close quarter spots, the 2720 for hogging out the driveway/parking areas.
