Wow I wish that i could buy her! But unfortunally i don't have that much, but I would love to have a tractor with a heated cab.

Mike,

Dang it, that's terrible news . . . I'm assuming you seen doctors, they can do amazing stuff with surgery or replacement parts. If you get well enough, would the tractor still work for you?

I would approach selling the tractor as new. Talk to the dealer and see what kind of price they would give you in taking it back. With the lack of hours, they could sell it essentially as new. It looks like they delivered it to you and you just parked it.

If the dealer wants you to take too much of a hit, then list it on eBay and/or Craigslist. I sure would have a high reserve on it though, just guessing, but you shouldn't have to take more than a 5 to 10% hit.

I finally got my B2650 last week and have been busy working on modifications/improvements/upgrades to make the tractor work better and be more to my liking. On of the first things that I did was swap the hydraulic couplers for the hydraulic chute rotation on the snow blower from being run off the dump/curl function of the loader valve to the third function. This eliminates having to get past the detent in the loader stick to get out of regenerative hydraulics and allows for much easier control of the chute rotation to the right. All that was needed were a couple of 3/8 ISO B female couplers, 3/8 X 1/4 npt reducer bushings and a couple of 1/4 npt street 45's. I will be using the loader valve's dump/curl function to control the cylinder that I am adding for control of the snow blower chute.

Farmall45b,

Good thinkin'. I understand the regen issue, but it seems more intuitive to me to move the joystick left/right for rotation. I'm using the 3rd function buttons for chute deflection.

Not taking issue with your approach as I clearly see the merit . . . just not sure I can reprogram what few active brain cells I have left.

I had no 3rd function on my B2320 and used the dump curl for the deflector and manual rotation. I guess my brain is already programed for this setup.

One of the first additions that I made to my B2650 was to install a radio. I bought a Pioneer digital media receiver from Wal Mart for $32. It has a AM/FM tuner and also aux. input and USB input. I don't have a smart phone, but it is supposes to be compatible with I Phone and Pandora. For those who are wondering, the install was a piece of cake. Simply remove the plastic plate covering the empty radio slot. Behind you will find a connector for the radio and an antenna plug. The radio I installed came with a metal case that the radio slides into. This case fit the radio opening perfectly and had a bunch of metal tabs that you bent up to retain the case in the opening. Next I took the plug that came with the radio and used solder splice connections to mate it to the pigtail harness that my dealer supplied me with. This allows the harness from the tractor to adapt and plug in to the Pioneer radio. Plug everything in and slide the radio into the case and everything is good to go. Pretty simple and very worth it. The radio and speakers sound pretty good. It is pretty easy to hear during normal operation, at full throttle and road speed the hydro whine gets pretty loud making it pretty hard to hear the radio when set to a reasonable volume. For most applications however it work quite well. Here are some pics for those who are interested.

Here is the hydraulic chute deflector that I built for the front mount snow blower. I could not justify the crazy cost of a kit from Kubota, so with the help of the fabricator at my shop we built this. It runs off the dump/curl function of the loader joystick, but could just as easily run of a third function or rear remote. It bolts to the existing holes in the chute. Not that we built one, we are thinking we may build more if there was interest from other folks in buying something like this. Wondering is there is any interest in buying this as an add on kit or buying the brackets and adding your own cylinder and hoses.

Nice work, and yes the Kubota kit is over priced

I did mine like this, as to save the 3rd function for my hydraulic toplink. The blower on the front and box scraper on back is the best snow set up I've ever had.
