11 now, going to 4 or 5. Spent the day taking the ceiling out of a 1880 basement. Tongue and groove, random widths, some over 12 in wide. I'd save some, but the old guys sure didn't scrimp on nails!!!! Interesting building, real 2 x 12's for floor joist's, notched into each other. A lot of the lumber seems to be oak, probably locally milled.
Have a lot of milled oak 2"X8"'s as floor and ceiling joists in my 1890 barn...can you imagine what such lumber would cost today???
