New owner here, bought a eMax 22HST with 25L loader and MB60A backhoe.
This tractor compliments my old '52 Ferguson TO-30 I use for brush hogging and wood chipping.

When the tractor arrived I had the dealer show me how to remove the backhoe and install the
tiller then re-install the backhoe. I used the backhoe to remove some stumps and worked very
well and had no issues plus not to hard to learn. I am now ready to use the tiller but it has been
a while since watching the dealer remove and re-install the backhoe so now I am looking for a
video on how to do this, along with perhaps a video on using the backhoe to see if there is a trick
or two that I may have missed learning by myself.
Is there a source around on this tractor showing different things in using it? I have tried searching
but found limited results.
Thanks,
Bruce

Have you tried YouTube? Most anything can be found there.

When I do search even YouTube videos show up but there just wasn't much there for this model tractor and backhoe.
This is something Mahindra USA website should have to help its customers, should be easy for them to do.

I would agree. Most manufacturers have links on their websites.

Ok, so went directly to YouTube and searched for Mahindra tractor backhoe and it came up with lots of
video's but not all on backhoe remove re-install but they were very helpful.
I have a question though, once the backhoe is removed its the legs that hold up the rear section with the bucket
on the ground so how long can you keep it like that? Won't the hydro slowly leak (nothing is perfect) and
cause the rear end to drop to the ground? From the videos everyone was on level ground, what if it isn't level
how hard is it then to remove and re-install the backhoe? I guess if the backhoe is level with the tractor it is a mute point
on level ground.

if the ground is not level, it will be a bugger to get the hoe back on. MUCH easier when level.

I put blocks under the main section of the BH to set it on when dismounted. The stabilizers will eventually leak down and it will tend to tip a bit with out the blocks. Don't worry about the bucket arm leaking down.

It will take you some effort the first couple of times it goes back on but after a time or two, it gets really easy and should only take a couple of minutes. Removing is VERY easy and quick.

Good luck, you'll like the machine, I'm sure.

When you disconnect the hoses the fluid has no were to leak back to so no worries.. just keep your connectors clean and capped/plugged

Biggest point of removing and putting on the Bh is use the hydraulics to move it on and off the rops... so when you hook it up the first thing you do is hook up the hoses... when you take it off last thing you do is unhook the hyd.

Oh do not forget to plug your hoses back into each other on the tractor side when you get everything off and BEFORE you crank the tractor. Goodluck the first few times will be fun then it becomes a routine

Thanks to all for the helpful hints and ideas.
So where can one get caps to cover the exposed hydro connectors on the BH when its off the tractor?

Oh one last question and forgot to ask the dealer this when I was there yesterday...are service manuals available for the tractor and its attachments?
