Pretty simple illustration right there!
As I dig a little deeper in the numbers, if the initial sticker price is what is used when describing how much off you are, looks like am in the neighborhood of $12,500 off and I countered with $13,000 off. They were too low on my trade, in my opinion, as they offered $7000, but told me if I had a "fresh service", new tires and a "professional" detail they could go $9000. My response was for the $13,000 off sticker and $9500 for my trade. Explained that it was 500 miles till time for service as it has been serviced at 3000 miles religiously and that the tires were not to the wear bars yet. I sent this picture as lack of understanding about the detail. Looks like is beading up pretty good to me in yesterdays rain. Am looking into another possible deal in case this one doesn't come together. I am satisfied with the price on their truck, but don't want to take a beating on my truck. I feel they can get $13K-$14K for it and would be willing to leave that much on the table for convenience. I even sent a link to a truck with higher mileage, less options and worse condition with a higher asking price on their same street.
