I see you got it to work to your liking

I would have adjusted the stabilizers, its why they are adjustable. side-to-side sway wouldn't cause any problems so long as the implement or lift arms do not make contact with the rear tires. You can test this sway by raising the implement and pushing on it one way and another.

enjoy your plow! I just picked up a IH 314 rollover (3 16" super chief bottoms) myself to pull with our 706 for terrace upkeep. I'm having fun shopping for wear parts

Getting something to work and have it to your liking are two different things. I would like for the plow to have a bolt on pin. Then I could change out the Cat. 1 pin to a Cat. 2 pin.

If its why stabilizers are adjustable, why do the manufacturers put holes in their implements for lock pins?

What is your 706? Where are you located that your terracing?

sorry, didn't mean to come off like a jerk about the stabilizers... It is common to adjust the stabilizers to accommodate different pin spacing, since implement pin spacing varies so much even within the same category.

Though looking back at your pictures... is the spacing between the lift arms the problem or is it that the lift pin on the plow is to short and your lift arm ball socket butts up against the larger diameter bar (bottoms out so to speak) ?

it is a IH Farmall 706 w/ d282 70hp. I'm in williamson county in the blackland

No problem. If you would have read the thread, you would have seen that it a problem of pin length.
