NX6010 hydro transmission issues

Hydrostat slow response, and steering "wonky" too.. Measure charge pump pressure. maybe obstruction in the path. or the steering section of the main pump. Modulator valve, or the filter .. something. But the first thing I would do is measure for that 356 lbs of pressure.

Odd that this happens after the oil thins out after use..

It sounds like Jim's tech may have already pulled the charge pressure test.

If the charge pressure is low, the diagram I shared lists three options:

1) the hydro filter is plugged. Okay, maybe.

2) The charge relief valve itself is clapped out.

3) The 2nd pump feed line is shelled (or alternatively--as a conspiracy theory to jumpstart our discussion--is that the line they tapped for the third function rather than the line between the loader valve and 3PT?).

Not a very good pic , but this is the port on the joystick valve that the third function should be plumbed from.

Wow, I got a mention in a video. That's a first!!!

I have a question, I can hear your voice very clearly and don't hear the engine revving very high at all when you cross the little creek. Perhaps those cabs are really quiet but I just cannot hear the level of noise I'd expect with PTO RPMs. I'd be shocked frankly if horsepower was an issue there anyways. If you were running the engine at roughly 2000-2100 rpm or so then you're probably putting out less than 45hp anyways. That sort of crossing is typically more of a traction issue than power issue. I climb much steeper terrain than that with my backhoe mounted which must be roughly the same weight as a 7ft bush hog. I do typically drop to low range but again it is MUCH steeper as I need to put it into 4wheel assist for traction to get up the hill. Traction is my issue, not power. I can easily climb the same slope (15 degrees) while mowing running about 2100rpm which must be roughly 30-35hp.

I know this isn't a horsepower discussion (yet ) but I can assure you that a 40hp Kioti would have no trouble with the task you videoed. Indeed, my prior tractor, a 21hp CK20 could (and did) do the same work and climb the same slopes as my DK40, also with a BH attached. You don't need 60hp to climb a 15 degree slope.

Joe, Country has a good photo here of our Joystick's power beyond port. It is the rear-facing port that has the plastic dust cap on it in Country's photo. Stock, there is a hose that is attached to this port that runs straight back to the base of the rear remote valves. The stock hose is painted factory Kioti charcoal. Your third function should have been plumbed in-between the power beyond port shone in Country's photo and the three point in back. As such, you should see a not-Kioti-painted hose plumbed into the power beyond port on the joystick's control valve Country's photo.

You know, all the NX tractors I looked at all had a hard line with banjo fittings on each end instead of a hose like yours had, I wonder why the difference. I looked a a couple of hydro 6010 units also with a hard line.

Here is the rear connection port, originally a line or hose would go from the port in my first pic to this port.

If I recall (it's been a while since I read it) the hardline was an early change in the manufacturing which is noted in the different parts in the parts book. My tractor had a soft line with a NPTP fitting on the power beyond end and that goofy, giant banjo on the other end. Thankfully, BSPP adaptor threaded right in on the 3PT valve body, but it was one of the problems I had to work out.

Country's action photo of the curiously expensive Parker zink-coated adapter. Anyway, Joe, if your dealer tapped the right line for your 3rd function, on the base of your rear mounted SCVs, you will not see the factory, painted hose. Instead of the factory hose you should see a 90 degree elbow screwed into an adaptor just like what Country posted.

IF my DK 35 with loaded rears couldn't cross what I saw in the video with my backhoe or brush mower on, I would be looking to see what was wrong with it.

Yeah, I know it was a weak example, but if it were much more sloppy and uphill it could have been :) I was not running the pto or course, so I was at normal rpm, somewhere between 1500 - 2000. Going to try and take a video now of the valve they installed.

OK, from the 3rd function valve; the front hoses go directly to the 3rd function itself at the end of the loader.
The left/rear lines go into this box by the transmission. One line is in the pic as the lower left line, which is black. The other line goes into the back of that box.
