Two coments
Thanks.

Do your chickens have cell phones? :D When you said the phone stopped ringing--I guess you have temperature alarms in chicken houses that dial out?
If they do have cell phones don't let them drive chicken tractors while tweeting.

You said you saved grape seeds for your starts I think? What variety of grape are you growing Larro?

The ones I've been transplanting are the large blue {or purple} muscadines. I have some of the bronze {Scuppernong} muscadines that will be ready to transplant later. Also an oblong blue that taste like Welshes Concord grape jelly. The two kinds of muscadines are off of vines at least 60 years old and I have been assured they are seedlings. The oblong ones are only about 25 years old, so not as sure of them.

I posted pictures of the grapes when we picked them, August of the last two years, but that is a lot of pages to look back. I found this picture on Google that looks like the oblong ones.

Cool. Cultivation of native Southern US Muscadine varieties dates back to the 16th Century, I wouldn't have guessed.

67ーF and .29 inches rain last 24 hours. Sun shining as I pedal my exercise bike :)

David Sent from my iPad Air using TractorByNet

David, how do you see stuff like the remains of an old railroad trestle on a stationary bike? The pic is taken between St charles and Black Walnut on the Katy Trail
