For anyone who is in New England, I just saw this ad pop up on Craigslist. I believe it is real. Location is twenty miles north of Boston. Best price I've ever seen on a used BX TLB and this one has lots of nice extras. No MMM but for $11000 for a 2010 model with 1100hrs it is IMO a steal.

Kubota BX25 TLB

That's an excellent price from what I have seen. Actually I have been surprised at how little these tractors (bx25 in particular) have gone down in price over time. When I figure in financing for used machines in my area, it's actually cheaper to go new with the 0% / 60mo financing.

Absolutely help. I just began looking. Five acres, nothing crazy to do but maintenance and basic work. Was told this model was too small. I think it sounds just fine. My first tractor purchase.

When I was a youngster, Granddad had a B7100 (how I learned to drive) on 10 acres. He would tinker, burn brush, and cut & haul firewood. He Beat that tractor like a rented mule pulling logs, stumps and who know what while I wasnt there. It was ALWAYS enough tractor to do the job. Now, if was doing it for a buck? probably not. I do know that 10 acres was a park when he was done. And **** them for selling that piece, and **** my parents for not buying it. - GOD I wished I had the property today. - Anyway.

Agree. It is the lowest price I've ever seen even for a BX23 and this BX25 is all kitted out with desirable modifications and extras. If it were mine I'd try to get $14000 or so for that tractor. I'm guessing that the 1100hrs might seem like a lot to some folks but anyone who has worked with CUTs, and especially Kubota engines, knows that is just an adolescent engine. I'm honestly thinking of trying to convince my wife that I need it to do some yard/landscaping projects at our home. My big boy tractor is on an island 80 miles away so not a practical alternative. I figure for $11,000, I could use it for a season and sell it with either no loss or a profit. But, knowing her it will take weeks for her to decide so anyone out there in TBN land who is interested should consider it.

You might try some of the other brands if you want to save some money. LS is a good tractor.
Craigslist has some good deals, but they also have scams. -The tractor is located in another state. send 1/2 now for shipping, the rest on delivery, but the tractor is never delivered and you are out some money. Always inspect and buy in person- harder to screw up!
Online sales from reputable dealers are another way to go.

Thanks for the thoughts.

I was looking at LS, TYM, KUBOTA, DEERE, MAHINDRA, JINGHUA, KIOTI pretty much them all. When you add in the FEL/BH/MMM they all end up decent money. I was surprised that the kubota was fairly inexpensive compared to the others. My Dad was telling me I could go with mahindra and save thousands, well according to the local dealer the emax with FEL/BH/MMM was about 5k more. Some would say that it is worth the extra money, but I have modest needs and a modest budget.

That craigslist bx25 near boston is definitely a good buy. I would have been on that fast three weeks ago when I before I bought my new b25d. There was nothing available used for a price that would make me not want to buy new with 0%. I notice he had some other attachments in the garage, must be keeping those.

OK!
Here is where I am at now:
BX25D-1 / 12" bucket / 60" mmm / 3ph
Local (birkey/prophetstown,IL):$18,800 (no tax - AG use exemption)
Barlows (KY): $18,800 plus $495 shipping (no tax)

So I will be going with local dealer, just getting the credit lined up now. Anyone else have any input for me?

Thanks for everyone's input!
Can't wait to get it, I will take some pics....

Yeah, that was my ad.I always maintained it well. The only reason I sold it was to upgrade to a B2620, which I ordered today.

Glad you sold it though you might have priced it a bit higher. I'm sure it went to the first serious person who came to see it.
