Waiting for videos to be posted after you guys get to play with them. They sound like a must have toy if it was just for the mobile generator.

Well, you could spend just as much for a riding mower without a generator. At age 71, I'm just a bit tired of walking these aching back acres. I would have bought a rider years ago, but for the fact my property is too tough for most of them. The front suspension on the Raven is one of the features most appealing to me.

I was surprised to see Lowes is not charging me for home delivery. Perhaps it is because I'm only about 6 miles from the store.

Glad you made it out of Cali. Twenty six years was all I could take of the place. Welcome to Oregon! I've been here since 1976 and have never regretted the move.

Just got off the phone with Lowes to check on my delivery schedule. They say it should be delievered by the 21st and I ordered it on the 6th, so around 2 weeks. Can't wait... I asked about the delivery charge and they were more than happy to waive it for me.

** Status Update ** Delivery tomorrow!!! Yay!

Mine is supposed to be here on 4/20. I'm thankful for Lowe's return policy because I'm not sure it will be suitable for the farm. Most of my lawn is actually meadow, and bumpy in spots. I've never had a riding mower on it. Although, the front suspension on the Raven should help a lot. We will see.

Thanks Oregonians for getting the Raven out west. We are still giving very serious consideration. Curious how the mulching option will work, and if worth the extra. We don't have that nice a lawn so suspect we are fine without. Looking forward for owners to share their experiences; and hopefully joining the Rank of Raven Riders.

I just paid for one tonight at Lowes. They have one in back room stock but their delivery truck is booked until Wednesday so I'll have time to read the manual online and such before it shows up.

Sounds like we will soon have several Raven reports. I think it is a good concept and am glad they are coming back with a revision.

Finally got it this morning. Got my 2 acres mowed. As you can see in the pictures, the grass has grown over a feet tall in many places so I had to go slow in patches but it did the job admirably. Took the blades off and put on the mulching blades so the grass clippings don't shoot out 10 feet to the side anymore... With the generator and the mowing deck running, it's a lot louder than I anticipated. Took the mowing deck off, put it in high gear and took a lap around the block with my 4 year old princess and she absolutely loved it!!! Although the max speed is supposed to be 17mph, it was really a fun ride. It climbed the hills around here but I wouldn't say it has a lot of ooomph charging up the hill. It felt very much like my Prius on electric motor alone whereas I wanted it to be more like a Tesla, lol. Rides smooth on the road, but not so much around my property. My son tried riding in the back but said his bum hurt quite a bit. I haven't tried using the generator yet cuz it took so long to mow the lawn. I need to go back out this week and trim all the edges. Overall I'm quite satisfied with the purchase.
