My wife hates my new tractor

Wifey must be OK with me and the tractors. Last evening I had to do the Annual Spring Branch Cleanup. There were quite a few that had blown down this Winter so the easiest way to handle it was to put the forks on the FEL to gather and dump them. I walked the property tossing branches on the forks and she followed me on the Kubota. If she had really been upset she had several opportunities to impale me and say "Oops. My foot slipped".

She keeps asking me if I love my tractor more than her... "Of course not Honey" Then tonight she asked me if she had to spray paint herself orange to get equal attention. LOL Sad part, I can see her doing it just to make a point. After dinner we are walking around the garden, and she tells me "to go on in and join my buddies looking at Tractor ****" So now I am wondering how many divorces or at a minimum arguments have been caused from TBN

Or do I really have a problem...

Buy her some orange panties or a night gown!!

Hmmmm, When I do that, I drive the tractor and she walks around loading it. When she asks why I just remind her she is younger (5 years). Don't let your wife meet mine, okay?

my wife hated to see me spend the $ which i agree was tough but she realized rapidly that i can get 10x or more work done in the same amount of time with the tractor. Now she is fine with it.

I worked multiple jobs and was only home to sleep for most of the first 40 years were married. Now, for the last 4, I am home 24/7 most of the time. Anything that gets me on the far end of our 20 acres is thought of as a blessing I'm guessing...:cool2:

As far as the tractor, she looks at it as the conveyance for the 6 daily offerings from the Horse manure department.....

Your problems you bought the wrong color tractor. Your wife is GREEN with envy--if you had bought a GREEN tractor, they would get equal time.............

My wife totally understand diesel therapy. She has her shopping therapy, so it's about square.
Seriously though, my wife totally understands how beneficial it is to have a tractor and FEL. I drive to the local nursery about a mile away with my trailer behind, load my own mulch/dirt/rock and bring it home, dump it right where it needs to be, no shoveling at all. I've hoisted her up to pick apples and down into the raspberry clump. I take care of the snow and lawn.
When I lost my job a year and 1/2 ago, I told her I'd sell it and get a small box store mower. She wouldn't hear of it.
