I've had super service from my Deere dealers. ( Construction & Ag ) Lawn & garden ... not as well, but typical

If you don't have a competent dealer and/or you are dissatisfied with the tractor, I don't see why you would buy another one. Especially from the same dealer.

Only reason is because, they are paying the same price I bought it for after I complained for a long time to get that deal. Better then losing my butt on a new one from another dealer

If they're willing to buy the tractor back at full price ONLY if you'll buy another Deere then I have to agree with your reasoning...It makes sense. And while the 4066r certainly isn't my favorite tractor in this class, it's still a nice machine. And while I'd prefer a tier 3 tractor (the 4720 would be my choice IF I was going green), I wouldn't be worried about tier 4.

Also, I don't think you answered my original question. Are you going cabbed or OS ? If OS, and the backhoe is used often, there are probably better options than the 4520/4066.

Yes..open station and yeah I use my backhoe alot...and yes thats the only way they will buy it back at that price. What would you recommend from john deere as other options, im not locked in on the 4066

Well, IF you can find one, and IF they'd still do the deal, a JD 110TLB would be a better BH option. Stronger loader, better hydraulics, stronger BH... Problem is they are discontinued, so you'd have to try to find a used low hour one

And I dont use the backhoe that much..I still use it as a farm tractor most of the time

Sounds like they don't have anyone that knows how to work on them.....very unfortunate and disappointing with a new machine.
You might do some research, and see if their is another dealer somewhat nearby with a reputable service department to fix your warranty issues.

TomSeller is right, the problem is with your dealer, and the fact they don't have a GOOD technician to fix your problems, they have a parts changer, nothing more, and he don't know what parts to change:confused2:

I'd hang in their for a while, and go with a different service dept. to get your issues fixed before throwing in the towel and going tier4.
