Just want to let everyone know that our little Finnly has had a GREAT week at school. We thought we were going to have to pull her out, but all the ladies (principal, her optional teacher, counselor, & special ed administrator) and us, had a good meeting about it. After a good cry by all, they really bent over backwards to accommodate changes to her curriculum. She will be pulled out of the mainstream class for studies. She will join the mainstream for class activities and outside class stuff like art, music and computer classes. They put her back on her previous bus where the ladies who drive it just love Finnly to bits. We told her about these changes last Friday after the meeting and she was happy. They are going to give her special counseling each week, along with her previous speech and occupational therapies. Come Monday, she was eager to get on the bus, had a great day at school, earned the highest conduct color possible, and the same for Tuesday. Came home in a great mood instead of crying and afraid of home punishment for getting bad conduct grade. I know the Lord has his hand right smackdab in the middle of her education and well being. Thank you all for the prayers. We have our happy child back.
