Yes Jon, I Do. I even put a different coil on and no change at spark plugs

If you have power in and out of the coil, does it go to an ignition module?? And from the ignition module, to the distributor. Should go through the pickup coil, then through the reluctor, up to the rotor button.

How old is the distributor cap..?? Have you checked the lugs under the cap for ionization buildup..?? If the cap is old, I'd probably check that first. If it's new, probably the ignition module, assuming it is wired correctly..

The only thing that hasn't been replaced is the distributor. I think i will look on eBay for one

Had an old Ford like this a long time ago,
theres a ring gear, its on the distributor shaft when you pull it out, mine was worn and wouldn't let the points set right, an old mechanic found the problem for me, something to think about.

Not sure what you have for parts stores around there, but here at Oreillys you can get a reman'd distributor for around $50 + core. $80 with new cap & rotor.

Dj-i can find the whole system on eBay for around $30-40

Skyhook-how do you tear it all apart

Common failure is the pickup coil inside the distributor. About $25 to replace.
