So what does all that mean? It means you can probably upgrade to seven discs if you want to. Two extra discs and one extra plate. Compare stack height.

Ok thats weird so it is correct to have a metal plate last on the stack and then the cover plate. I would think that metal spacer and cover will slip. Being its metal to metal.

The cover plate #8 and the end plate #7 turn at the same time and direction, so no friction. Note the splines and bolts.

Ok have a new problem. Does anyone have the hydraulic hose diagram location for the shuttle shift lever on the left side while sitting on the dozer. I used toap to label the hoses and oil soaked the tape and they fell off. Any help deeply appreciated. Thanks

Does your machine have an accumulator? I think I may have asked you this before. Best way to label hoses is to take pictures with the labels on them.

Ya I used a metal stamp on the right side controls. Not sure but there are 4 lines that connect to the forward and reverse control. 2 lines on the actuator lever cylinder and 2 lines come from the right side controls. Wish I did take pics for backup but didnt.

Wait, what? Don't you have two hydraulic pumps on the engine? Are you getting the pressure source from the tractor hydraulics?
