I have some of the fire hose pants. They're sizing is a little different. I don't know if they are sized big or others are small. Have had good luck with them. They will tear but not as fast as jeans. And I have learned the same things as Eddie about summer heat.

You never buy them at full price eddie, they run deals all the time on their stuff, just have to be ready ot buy it when it comes along.

I have worn their long tail tee's for years. I'm a tall person with short legs and they cover my backside well. As for price try to find "tall" tee's for less. I have the fire hose unlined jacket. I love it. It is my go to town shopping jacket.

I have been buying clothes from Duluth for the last few years after getting tired of brand named shirts falling apart in a year or two. I have Polo shirts that took 10+ years to wear out but mainstream shirts from the local stores are not lasting very long anymore. So far no complaints about Duluth except for the price of their products and lack of Kahki color on some shorts.

I do wait for sales before buying but the clothes are still expensive. But I am willing to buy expensive if the clothes are worth it. Duluth products are worth it to me.

About 20 years ago I bought boot socks from REI. The socks were heavy and long wearing wool but they started to wear out so I bought some new socks from Duluth. The Duluth socks are much better than the REI socks and not any more expensive.

Ever since JCPenney apparently did away with their St. John's Bay extra tall tees I've refused to buy anything from them and have been hard pressed to find a quality substitute. I called this Duluth outfit and after much back/forth they finally said their tall tees were "3 inches longer" than regular. Uh... ok, so that's tall perhaps, but not "extra tall". Virtually every site that sells tall sizes groups tall & extra tall sizes together which is ridiculous. If there's a store out there that sells real extra tall tees-- I haven't found it. Many searches only come up with discussions of many others in the same boat.
