My 4x6 jet will cut to within a degree of perfectly square every time. It's how you set it up and how you break in your blades. $100 off CL and the previous owner put some metal through it too (it's well used).
1/4" needs a bevel if you can't get the heat in the puddle. I started on a 120v MIG, so I remember those days. I just got a 120v Hobart for field work in the woods and it's depressing when the thermal protection kicks in.
Makes me miss my real welders back in the shop.
