Wheel weight

I MUCH prefer radial tires on my tractors and putting fluid in radial tires greatly defeats the traction advantages of radial tractor tires.

A 55 gal drum of concrete t just isn't heavy enough. I put fluid in my tires, 2 95lb wheel weights and a 1700lb block of concrete off the 3pt and I could still make the rear end light.

For loader work ballast, how about a drum full of concrete with a 3 point hookup on it?
3 pt. weight ballast - $125
3 pt. weight ballast
3 pt weight ballast is your best bang for the buck for FEL work. I used a rear scraper blade until I got my wheel weights made, but trying to turn around in between trees I was like a bull in a china closet. I really like not having anything sticking out to worry about when I'm in the woods.

It sure is. A 78" HD jd bucket on a 563 nsl loader full of wet clay. My front tires have taken a beating in the shale that I had been moving. I'm def going wi th heavier ply radials when these won't hold air anymore. I think I'm going to have to make a heavier steel weight since I snapped the cat 1 bar that was in the weight this winter. I'm going to shoot for 2500lbs this time.
