Appreciate the comments, though I really have to give credit to our builder and the girl who does his drawings -- they both were really creative/artistic, but also practical with costs/materials/etc.

Very nice work on the garage and the house. Looks like you knew what you wanted and the builder did very well to achieve your goals. I would be proud to have a garage and house like that. I believe it will be very low maintenance also.
I have a friend who works at the south end of Richmond near DuPont that has just purchased some land close to where you are building. He is planning to build a house there relatively soon. I was wondering if you could post your builders contact information so I could pass it on to him.
If for some reason the builder or you would prefer not to post the information could you PM me with the information. I would think the builder might appreciate the free advertising, it looks like they do good work, thanks.

I have to agree, they appear to be doing good work, and they are moving along at a good pace, got weathered in quickly, etc.
