I am pretty sure a Willis truck bed is pretty much the same. I say it counts!
I do wonder down the road how many of the new cars will evoke the kind of memories the old muscle cars did. My co-worker just got his BMW M4 (425 HP over the top performance limited to 144 MPH) but who will be able to keep it running in 30 years? Back in the 60's and 70's you had plenty of places and opportunities to wind it out without too much worry about being buried under the jail. If I get a careless and reckless now, I will not have a job. I never got to ride in an original hemi or a big block Cuda, but it sure was fun to see one driving down the road. When I was 16 there was a hot older girl (guessing mid to late 20's and she drove a 1971/72. Boss 351 Black with Silver Stripes. She was hot, the car was hot, the sound was hot. I don't want to think of her now as the 65 year old lady she is, but I bet she has some stories her grandkids would not believe.LoL, memories. My buddy's dad had a GS455 olds with that body style, then he sold it and bought the new body style GS455 around 1973 with hounds tooth interior. I got to ride in both of those plenty.
Another buddy had a dark green Z28 like that in which we did plenty of donut spins in parking lots. Another buddy bought a creamy '69 cuda used, black with perfect paint and body in 1974. It had aluminized headers and a nice dual exhaust. I think he paid either $1500 or $2000 for it. What a steal. Wish I had it now.
BTW, I really like your house too. But you have too many cars for that new barn/garage. Good problem.![]()
