With typical felling cuts so unpredictable on a tree of that condition, snatch block it your preferred direction and you'll be pulling from the opposite direction and as far away as your rope is long. Where cuts are made will be way less important.

First things first - set up a camera to record!!
Don't climb, get a good "throwing rope" and pull up an attachment point tied to two long lines as high as possible.
Snatch block w/ the two lines at a about a 90 degree angle with the desired fall line bisecting the angle.
Pull as much as possible, if you've got 2 good come-alongs or winches you should be able to put about 6,000 lbs of pull on it.
If it doesn't fall then release most of the tension and do some cutting. Pull again.
Post pictures.

neighbor up the road from me. was using a "bow and arrow" with i want to say kite string or fishing line tied to arrow. and then had a couple hundered plus feet of stronger string i want to say, then some heavier duty cable as well.
1 arrow + fishing line. eventally getting wanted branch height
2 fishing line + stronger string. (pull up stronger string)
3 strong string + cable (pull up cable)
repeat step 1-3 a couple times to loop cable around a couple times as high as you can.
the crops were out of the field at the time. and i want to say it was a good 70 to 120 foot tall tree. i really didn't pay much attention beyond bow and arrow. and remember seeing a string and long cable. and then i want to say a 60 to 90HP old 2 wheel drive field tractor for pulling tree down into the field.
