I've never heard of such a thing happening, except in the movies. But perhaps it's happened somewhere.

I never have either, but thought it was because I just don't frequent those places.

It's not happened here in Industry, Maine. No urinals in town. There is an outhouse in the parking lot by the lake, but no block walls. :laughing:

Leaving space at a light and using a stall at certain places are just part of my daily situational awareness. Not that it's happened to any one I know but I think it's good practice. I lately have been avoiding crowded places where attacks could take place.

Most people go around in condition "white" all of the time.. But I think there is nothing wrong with heightening your situational awareness, especially in a location that an attacker would have a built in advantage. Those of you that don't think that bad things happen to good people, are not keeping up with current events. And historic events for that matter. I am sure some of you here think I am either paranoid, or cowardly/fearful. I prefer to think of myself as being prepared. My few short years as a LEO was enough for me to see the "seamy side of life".

Your mileage may vary, and in this great country of ours, you are free to think as you choose.

James that is the perfect reply. I also do not consider myself paranoid or crazy. But I was almost a victim once but that's another thread.

Kids used to get beaten up in the bathrooms in middle school and one of the high schools I went too. You just not go into some bathrooms, and yes, standing in front of the urinals is where kids sometimes would be attacked. Including having their head pounded into the wall.

Now, the kid that got a twirly in a very used toilet, kinda asked for it.:shocked::laughing::laughing::laughing: He was not very bright. He was small and liked to attack, and I do mean attack, bigger kids. Bigger meaning foot ball players. :confused3::shocked: This behavior got him locked into a locker as well as the previously mentioned twirly in a very dirty bowl. Neither event seems to have been a learning opportunity since his behavior did not change. :confused3::laughing::laughing::laughing:

When I see someone stop a car length behind the next stopped person I pull into that space. I think it is idiotic. There is no logical reason for it and as mentioned, if everyone did that it would increase traffic, block access to turn lanes and people who are trying to pull into traffic. So stupid.

There would be no way you could pull into a one car length space, not even parallel parking. You might be able to if there was 2 or three lengths, but nobody is talking 50-60 feet. Unless you have a motorcycle, maybe and with a bunch of tatoos and leather.
