Got about 3 hours on it today and have a few impressions. Overall I think it's going to serve me well and be a good fit for what I want/need. I knew the bucket size would bother me when I had to move a lot of material and I was right, but it got the job done. Had to shuttle a pile of yard waste the previous owners had left on the side of the house and it took a while. I have to reprogram my brain on pedal controls! I've had a lot of seat time in a bobcat skid steer with joystick controls and keep pushing the hydro pedal forward as the gas while dumping and wanting to go backwards! Not a huge fan of the treadle format now that I have actually used it but know I will get used to it. What's with the **** brake pedal being so high?! It's not in a natural position to reach and is a bit of a pain in the *****. Again, I'm sure I'll get used to it. Wouldn't be a big deal if the hydro stopped when released, but if we need to use the pedal it would be nice to have it in a more natural position. I can see the benefit of side by side pedals. Got some trenching done too! Can't wait to be able to open it up full throttle to make things go a bit quicker but want to try and break it in properly.
I will have to take a pick when I get a chance, but you guys know what they look like! It's already dirty and paint missing on the buckets! Sure beats a shovel and wheelbarrow all day everyday!
