Thankfully, I have not had any flats so no opportunity to look inside the tires. I have no concerns myself about the life of rimguard. If it has inherent problems I will cross that bridge when I come to it. However, your concern is legitimate. You have a right to your own peace of mind. If you want to know how it performs long term then I suggest you ask that question at a tire shop that sells and repairs ag tires. The guys that fix them will know what it looks like inside the tire. It has to have been around for more than 10 years and there will be an answer to your question. Just have to find the right people. Good luck and let us know if you find anything negative about the product. I would be interested in hearing about it if there is.
