I have a New Holland 3010S that I was using this week and the differential lock has stuck and will not disengage. The pedal is not contacting the lock valve and I need some information on what is causing this problem or is the valve just stuck?

If you have 4WD put it in 2WD. In 4WD and diff lock on could cause binding of the gears.
While driving straight ahead in 2WD turn your wheels left then right then try reverse and it should release.
Another way to release would be jack up the rear end and try running.
Lastly, it could be the linkage itself is binding where it goes through the case. That happened on one of my tractors due to lack of lubrication where the diff lock shaft goes through the case. Had to use plenty of penetrating oil and light taps on the linkage with a hammer.

Thanks for the tip of lubrication and tapping with the hammer. The shaft through the case housing was stuck. I had to remove the petal to tap with the end of the shaft and it popped free after several light taps. I cleaned and relubricated shaft and it works like new. Thanks again.
