Changing blades on a Kioti 72 in. finish mower

I've tried every way I know and can't get the blade off.. Any one have one of these. I think it's a 2013 model bought it in June this year. Thanks for any help.

That will depend on which way the blades turn.

I think it should loosen the opposite way the blade turns, but I'm not 100% sure.

My 48" version of this mower has standard right hand threads and I use a battery powered impact wrench on it without issue.

Do You stop the blades from turning some how ? If I put a socket on the nut on the top it will just turn. If I stop the blades with a 2x4 it will just slip without the bolt giving..

I had to grab the pulley neck with a pipe wrench to get mine off, miserable hot day job that I would have done differently in hindsight, like maybe using a bunch of penetrating oil first.
Mine were regulare righty tighty lefty loosy nuts

My three blades are held on by NUTS (the type with nylon inserts), and I do hold the blade with my hand during this process, but it does not require any real pressure.
