62 out this AM. Up to 75 this afternoon. Yesterday was one of the few days I did not get into the pool this season. The weather looks to have turned over to Autumn. We received a light sprinkle yesterday, got most of the hay up. Still need to get the round bales out of here.

Have a great day all. Be safe.

Irv, Congrats on the 30!!! If you add up all 4 wives I might have been married for 30

Don, that is awesome about the heart! Is it mostly from diet and lifestyle, or drugs?

Drew, the hardest part of the install was drilling holes in the brand new canopy to mount things (that and getting off my butt to do it).

Roy, nice light bar! With days getting shorter, I figured I would need light too. Mine come on with the headlights because I will remember to turn them off, and I am never on the road with my tractor. Did you switch it independently or do the same as me?

70 now going to 87 Started to cut batter boards yesterday to discover that I am a couple of 2x4s short for stakes, so need to stop at Lowes sometime today. The talk of this years winter weather has gotten me a little nervous, now I am thinking I need to build a hut for the well as well as a drag hut for the goats. Hope I have enough time!!!!

For you weather watchers there is a strong possibility that Friday thru Sunday of a big rain/ wind event for NC, Va MD and NJ coming six inches plus of rain. This will cause lots of problems with that much rain coming down in very dry ground. After this heat will come back and some will see 90s again and dry probably until December unless a recurving hurricane in the Pacific changes our weather pattern

TR-6 leaking oil most likely transmission just something else to fix. Really should fix up and sell as I just do not use this car at all. Sale could be used to finish inside of building and add lean to for more storage

I remember when I had my Spitfire 1500, I complained to my mechanic about it always leaking oil and was told to get used to it because the English don't know how to make seals and all English cars leak oil. Made me wonder if my Harley was made in England? :D Sorry Eric, just what I was told...:D

I have 2 horses, 2 cows, and 5 goats that would be happy to take care of those round bales for you

KevT, It's all about the food.

Good morning, 68˚ heading to 96˚.

My niece, the new "Crocodile Dundee" in Texas, needs a catchy new name for her endeavor with alligators. I was thinking "Crocodile Blonde", but she informed me there were no crocodiles in Texas they are all alligators. She is already accumulating scars.

Gary, still biking to work?

Good morning, 52F heading to 73F with clear skies.
Yes I am still riding to work although it is quite chilly on the morning commute but real nice on the ride home. I guess I could wear socks & shoes instead of sandals and pants instead of shorts to make the ride more comfortable but that would mean that I am giving up on summer.;)

I too refuse to give up on summer but then again I also refuse to get old. But many more aches and pains like yesterday maybe the old folks home is closer than I think
