2015 CK3510H, WR Long bucket grapple, 4010 loader
So I signed for the financing on Friday, got approved before I even got home. Finalized the options on my CK3510 HST this morning, and should take delivery by this Friday. A big thanks to the TBN community for all the info, a month of intense reading turned me from a tractor novice, to a confident buyer.

FEL, pallet forks, Kodiak 6 foot OP scraper blade, cruise, loaded rears, free delivery, for just a little under 20k.
All the Kioti dealers in Vermont and southern NH were super helpful, and spent lots of time answering questions.
I opted to install rear remotes myself since it would have added another week to the prep time, and I need this thing ASAP. A grapple will come shortly, looking at whatever is cheapest. Pictures to come when this bad boy gets here!

Congrats on your purchase. Can't wait for some pics as I haven't stopped by the dealer to see the new CKs yet.

One quick thing to think about... Unless you have some specific need not to - ask your dealer to set the wheels out to the widest setting for stability. Lot easier for him to do it in his shop that you after delivery.

Other than that - Congratulations!! Look forward to seeing some pictures.

Did you already get a price (and part number) on the kit to add the 2 rear remotes? I've been thinking about doing our CK35.

FYI: Someone in Tamworth NH is selling Tomahawk grapples for a grand. Bout the cheapest price ive seen if you want a budget set-up.

Congrats by the way. What dealer did you end up with?

Thanks for the tips on grapples and offset. I actually made sure already that the rear wheels would be delivered with maximum offset. I may still get more offset spacers and increase it further. They quoted me at $700 for the rear remotes, installed. So I imagine the kit alone is about half that. But the kit wouldn't even get in until next week, so I opted not to wait another week or two for delivery.

I went with CCR equipment and rentals, in Essex, vt. One of the reasons they had the best price was a sales tax exempt form for the state of VT stating my agricultural uses for the tractor. Which is perfect since I have lots of gardens to manage. Pretty happy with my experiences at the Kioti dealers, all very helpful folk.

Congrats! I took delivery just about a month ago and have been putting it to work as much as possible.

Not sure if you need both of these or just the second one. :confused3: :ashamed: KIQ 322027 and or KIQ 322026. This will get you 2 valves, the second valve with the float function.

It was supposed to be ready by today but there were a few delays getting the cruise control parts in. I am thinking of ordering the kit through the dealership for the rear remotes, and installing it later whenever it gets in. I will also have to wait if I want the offset-able rear blade, which could get delivered later, and also gives me time to ponder more implements..

I am also looking at grapple attachments for buckets, and a cutting edge on there too, and maybe a full on root grapple later.

This would be a good idea IMO. For your offset-able rear blade, is it a side-side slider or the pin type where the boom pivots from side-side? The pin type are typically easier to offset, just a pin vs wrenching of the slide type and keeping the slot cleared out just to be able to slide.

Just my :2cents:

Yeah at least getting the kit for the remotes now is a good idea, and I can install them when they come in. Since they missed their delivery date, I might get some good deals on the little stuff.
The rear blade is a swinging-offset, which was the phrase I was forgetting, or SO blade shorthand. It swivels with a big hinge, and a locking pin as mentioned. The dealership also sells Mahindra and MF, both also nice tractors. Mahindra gets their implements from Kodiak, so all my accessories are Kodiak brand. I am going with a 6ft medium duty blade partly for counterweight, as well as supplementing snow clearing in the winter. That's why I want the swinging offset, for pushing banks back and ditch work.

My :2cents: Consider a 7ft blade. With the blade angled, the 7ft covers my tracks with a couple inches to spare on each side. A 6ft might be a little tight on each side. This is just my experience with my CK35.

BTW, MtViewRanch runs a business in tractor hydraulics. If you're interested in 3rd functions and remotes, take a look at his site, and pick his brain here concerning your hydraulics as he is quite knowledgeable in that regard.

Thanks for the tips! I actually will get a 7 foot blade, glad to hear that from a CK 35 owner. I figured these tractors could handle a decent size blade, just wasn't sure. That will help nicely with snow removal, my V-plow on my truck is almost 9 feet, and that's not wide enough even.

I wouldn't mind the factory remote kit, and then maybe aftermarket later for third function or diverter valve. Getting those rears thrown into the financing costs now is ideal, and, I get to learn hydraulics DIY.

Congrats. The tomahawk grapple looks exactly like my Versatech 66, which is an animal. Grapple is easily the most versatile tool I have for my tractor. Just be careful not to bite off more than you can chew...

Also may want to think about some ballast for when the blade is too unweildy, i made this out of a barrel and a drawbar

The 7 foot blade is pretty darn wide and makes the tractor just seem so much longer

Great pictures, thanks. Since my dealership has a good relationship with W R Long, I had them order me the bolt-on bucket grapple, as well as a tooth bar. So that will be my configuration, maybe in the future a root grapple too. W R Long's grapples were expensive and heavy, but I am excited to try the bolt-on bucket grapple.
Factory kit for rear remotes, with one remote running the grapple. I will do all the install work on that.

A ballast attachment is a good call, I like the concrete barrel. Part of the purpose of a rear blade was also ballast, but as you showed the 7 ft blade is all there. Which I did end up having ordered, the price difference from 6ft to 7ft is negligible. It was that swinging offset that I needed, do you clear snow with that blade?

Finally my machine will be here tomorrow morning, but I will have to wait for W R Long to build my bucket grapple.

I got the blade this summer, so right now trying to decide whether to drag snow away from the house with it or buy a blade for the ranger side by side. Leaning to this blade cuz I have it, but it cuts down my shelter options, due to the width. The ranger will also tear up the lawn less if i want to plow away from the house on the lawn. I really dont want another implement laying around for 6 months out of the year, decisions decisions...

I have a tomahawk 66" and have been getting some use out of it lately. I sure like it. I think they give EA a run for their money.

Awesome! Thanks Brian.

We haven't done anything yet. I'm trying to talk pops into a grapple & 3rd function. If I do I figured as long as we were tearing into the circuit, may as well add the rear remotes too.
