Successfully delivered yesterday, and so far very impressed. I've already got her digging and putting in a forest road, but taking it easy since it has only 5 hours on the clock!

After looking thoroughly at John Deere, Mahindra, lots of other brands and testing a Kubota or two that friends owned, I am confident in my Kioti. The platform is perfect for the woods work I am doing, wide stance and decent weight. The loader is strong and can hoist either end of the tractor in the air if you are not careful. The features and finish really seem like the best for the money of all the brands out there, and the Daedong diesel is a nice looking and sounding engine.

7ft rear blade with swinging offset on the way, as well as a tooth bar and bolt-on bucket grapple. I will be installing the rear remotes myself when they come in next week. The dealer got delayed on getting the cruise and fuel heater parts, and will be picking the tractor up in a few weeks to install those items, as well as deliver my implements on return. I noticed a small hydraulic leak from the threads of the loader quick connect upon delivery, which will be addressed when they pick up the machine in a few weeks. They gave me a jug of hydraulic fluid to keep it topped off until then, which should work since it is a very small leak. The fitting is tight, so not sure what is going on. Not my problem, on account of that "Warranty." Any other 'kinks' I find for them to work out can get taken care of as well, such as the parking break indicator light, which does not light up with the parking brake applied.

Small set-up hiccups aside, really happy with the service of CCR Equipment and Rentals in Essex, VT. Tractor with loader came to 18,200 at 5% interest, which gave me flexibility for attachments and implements.

VT, you said bolt on grapple. I didn't know kioti eliminated the ssqa loader on the ck's. I knew the extendable lower links and rubber foot panels were gone. I see the fuel tank is moved. Did keep the nice suspension seat? What other standard features did they eliminate?

Nice machine..Since your CK does not have telescoping lower links, look into getting a Quick hitch to ease the pain of installing 3pt implements. If you don't have the dough for one of those, consider a set of Pat's or Carters. With those you still have to get off to hook up the top link but they help quite a bit. I used a set of Carters for many years on my L3400 Kubota. When I got my DK35se it had telescoping links and I am doing well with those.

Long story short I went with the bolt-on grapple through WR Long for economical reasons, the quick attach system is still standard. As is the suspension seat, which was one of the major selling points. No cruise though, but that is getting installed, along with the fuel heater.

I think part of the reason for elimination of some of the standard features was to keep the price down a bit to help counteract the rise in prices when Tier 4 Final was enacted on all new models. This raised the price of all tractors, and tradeoffs had to be made to try to reach a price point. I saw this coming and in 2012 I got out the door with a DK35se with canopy for $19,300.

The DK's are nice tractors, I tried to differentiate as much as I could before buying, the CK seemed more than capable for what I am doing. I knew there would be a compromise for the tier 4 emissions, in the end it doesn't seem so bad.

My CK just barely fits on our woods trails, so im glad my upgrade-itis stopped there. What are some of the benefits of the DK? I know they come with a few more standard features, are a little heavier, longer? I know they are a tad narrower than the 3510.

Telescoping lower links, Telescoping sway bars. Electric actuation of 4WD Cruise control and PTO, Twin touch pedals instead of rocker treadle pedal for the HST models. Floor mats, Tilt wheel. Heavier chassis More lift on the 3pt.

Fortunately the 3510 series had the two HST pedals, one of the advantages over the 2510.

SSQA is still there, I think he means the grapple will be bolted on to the bucket, instead of a separate SSQA attachment.
