Getting rid of Moles/Voles

The Nash trap, the one you have pictured above for moles... is a pretty good trap. Only problem is they are expensive and EASY TO RUN OVER WITH YOUR MOWER [ as in destroy ]... Even if the idiot operator painted the aluminum frame with bright yellow paint. [ who ever he was.... ]

After I ran over one of my gopher traps with the mower because I let the grass get too high, I bought a hand full of marker flags and now now put one next to each trap:thumbsup: I use mostly the Cinch brand traps, come in two sizes have caught a few moles but mostly gophers when I keep the traps in the ground.

It's illegal here in Washington State to kill moles with pincher type traps but ok to drown them unless you live in Auburn, where they charged a elderly lady with a felony for drowning a possum.... It gets crazier the closer you get to Seattle.

Very true. That said, the Pincher Trap can be sold by anyone (meaning you can buy it at your local mole killing store). Funny law. Everyone has the pinchers in my hood because the work. Illegal of course but you can by them on the street.

Very true......the owner of our local hardware store told me he sells them for their historic/collectible value.......I keep mine on a shelf with my other antiques.......yea right!
