I was looking at it yestersay. Let us know with a small review what you think. I decided to get a full snow blade for the FEL since I live in the snowbelt. But we got only a light dusting thus far.

1. What kind of snow blade did you get for your fel ? I had planned to build something that could work with my quick attach. The snow edge I ordered is an alternative to that plus gives me slush and "broom" type abilities.
2. In our area of western wi . . We haven't had any snow yet. That snowedge product arrived and is heavier duty built than I expected. Its 70+ pounds without packing materials. I've got "a lot" of incline/slope based concrete to use it on . . So when the white stuff comes it will get a workout![]()
It's a 60" snow blade with hydraulic angulation mounted on the DL 95 loader. It was custom made however they have templates for DL100 / DL95 loaders that they can make a snow blade for either or manual or with hydraulic angulation. I have mine setup to work with a diverter valve so I can angulate it as I need. I'll post some pics of it tonight or tomorrow. The unit is built like a tank and probably need some ballast on the rear. I have filled tires and backhoe on for plowing. Did not have a chance to use it yet since not much snow.
Yes I do like the plastic snow edge to protect the drive way. Thinking of making some plastic shoes for my plow to be a bit easier then metal on it.
I had planned on using a 54 inch blade if I went to a plow concept just because a fel with a plow is a little easier to "spring" the arms compared to a frame and hitch situation.
I think you're smart to have a 3rd function or diverter . . As angulation from the seat is much preferred in my thinking.
I assume you pin it on?
I'll be interested in sering your idea.
I bought some 1x5" UHDPE for other projects several years ago but I'm guessing it would make a perfect blade edge for concrete. It's nearly impossible to sand and makes great "gliders" over concrete floors. The wear resistance is phenomenal and it's slippery (Low coefficient of friction). Just bolt a slab of that between your bucket and wear blade with it extending past the wear blade. I'm betting that's what they use on those expensive add-ons. If you're handy with a welder, you could make your own clamp-on holder for the UHDPE. I bought mine off eBay but like I said, it's been a few years. But it seemed there were a lot of sellers of the stuff and they were practically giving it away.
