How many carry extra magazine concealed carry.

You cannot keep an eye on every person in a gas station while you're pumping gas, fiddling with the credit card, fiddling with the filler cap, keeping and eye on the nozzle, keeping an eye on your two kids in the car, etc.... a person standing on the other side of the pump is only two steps away from you. Heck, I've thought about it many times at gas stations how easy it would be to just walk over and slap the cigarette out of someone idiot's mouth, let alone knock them over and take their car. (smoking at a gas station is a pet peeve, I guess :laughing: ).

I think that some are missing your last point. Even more idiotic is when they throw that lit cigarette out onto the ground next to their tire. Rather than dope slapping them, perhaps you could spray said cigarette with a fire extinguisher. :thumbsup:

Please! hahahhaaa It doesn't require anyone to slip up on anyone... you just walk up with a smile and say "Excuse me, can you tell me" and punch them in the throat.

Sure, there are a very few specific people that might have the reaction time to dodge that punch ( like my kid's karate instructor ), or a few people with enough suspicion to back away from or stand off every single person that approaches them, but those folks are few and very far between.

I will not let you walk up close enough at a public place to sucker punch me. I will take my chances and not stand there like sheep waiting to be the next victim.
I may loose be it will not be by being stupid and watch it happen to me.

I do watch everyone and all activity when I am at the gas pump. I have pumped gas before self-serve and can and will keep an eye out while the gas is pumping.

You do not see attacks at places where people can defend themselves. I is always where people are not allowed to protect themselves.

Here we had four gunmen attack a gun shop. Although one of the owners died in the gunfight his wife did not and the gunmen did not get away. They are facing life for the attack that failed because the owners fought back.

Extra clips won't help in a situation like this. There are too many innocent people there to be spraying bullets. Three nicely placed head shots would have been best. That is why I do a lot of practice on skunks, rattlesnakes, and other small varmints. "Aim small, miss small." If they didn't get me first thing I would have taken out at least one of them, maybe two. But this is when you need multiple people with CCL's helping out, not a single CCL with multiple clips. We let them in, now it is time to take them out.

I personally don't carry two but I understand the concept. How many carry more than one firearm?

I do occasionally...primary is a Glock 19...back up is a Ruger LCP.

I really hope everyone is prepared as stated in many post, training is key in anything you do, but I also know that under stress the toll it takes on the body physically and emotionally. This video is over the top training but watch the guy in the second half fire a round into the ground at his feet , probably don't realize at the time he did it. There are those who thought that they only fired one round but later found out they emptied the gun, some even drop a full clip and did not relize it.

It's real easy for everyone to speculate what one could or would do. Until you're there it's just that.. Speculation & conjecture. Personally the last thing I'd want to do is start firing at someone in a crowd, 50-100ft away with a little ccw. Little lone reload another mag into the crowded area. I've got a pretty accurate crimson trace one one I carry most, but that's under calm, slow shooting at cans & paper. Under some circumstances , sure I'd shoot, empty the mag & reload if I had one. You just don't know what you'd do till your there and it happens.

Many seem to assume everyone on here is untrained or trained only through a CCW course, many are former LEO, Military or both with many hours on a range, FATS, competition etc. Please don't assume that those who predict what they would do don't know their own abilities.
