Good morning!!!!

When it comes to the last few longest nights of the year, I often struggle to get out of bed. Most days the only reason I'm getting up in the dark is to take the dog out. This morning I went down to the utility as usual and dog did his stretching exercises while I yawned and put on my outside gear. I turned the key in the lock and look around to find Dog had disappeared. He had skipped the going outside part and had sneaked upstairs to get a bit more sleep - on my still warm side of the bed.

Well, i could probably organize things about as well as my SIL organized my wife's recipes the last time she visited.
Every time my wife looks for a recipe she can't find where it's filed.
Similar to when my wife puts things away for me, i can't find them.
Do you really want him organizing your building? Lol

I can't find things now at least it would be clean

38 outside high in low 50s today. Each day for rest of week highs will get warmer and warmer reaching 70 by Saturday. Seems like winter has gone on sabbatical

If I try to clean or organize around the house, my wife has a fit. I can work outside, but I tread carefully indoors!
I'm always wary of helping to tidy if it involves putting anything inside cupboards or drawers. When my wife has stored away things and I go to take something out, I often find I have to pull out other things first, then only half of them can possibly ever go back into the same space.

My son must have inherited this packing deficiency gene too. He hates going into the freezer if his mum has just stocked it, because he knows the first time he takes something out, he will end up with a pile of defrosting food on his hands with nowhere to put it.

Now that sounds like a bit of jealousy there Eric??? ;)

I refrain from the cleaning discussion for I am somewhat of a disorganized pack rat... we will leave it there.

It is 40 outside and DARK, going to 72 today and no rain in the forecast. Today I need to go to Lowes and pick up some materials I ordered on line, then back to the shop.

Going with a friend to SC in Jan. to the "Grand American Coon Hunt". He is looking for a couple of new huntin dogs. Also started making reservations and arrangements to go to the Mt Hope Draft Horse Auction in May. Will fly to OH for that, and if we buy something we will send it to be trained in Walnut Creek OH in which we will take our horse trailer up for the May driving class. Looks like I am going to be running electric out to the run in now so we can set up fans and lights.

34 heading to 56. Lots of stars out with the skinny moon.

Heading out to an early County commission meeting in a bit.

Eric, smart dog. Mine pulled something similar this morning, after being fed, of course.

RS, is that really your layout? I saw the Sprinter shown, so looks like the real thing. Very nice.

Must be related to my dog!

30 degrees and overcast, forecast to about 40 at our place about 50 miles south of Canada border in NorthernNY. Recent temps well above average with no measurable snow to date...latest without snow in many years. Not complaining, still working in my woods getting ready for spring maple syrup making habit. (work day is nowhere's near as long as it was 30 years ago)

Good morning! 46˚ hitting 71˚ foggy then sunny.

Wngsprd, "Awesome" is not a word I would use for kissing a gator. That kiss is right in line with people who kiss their dog right after their dog has checked out another dog.

But it's working for her. It will be interesting to see how this develops in the spring.

RS - If I we had a cleaning lady my wife would also clean-up before she came.

Ron - there will be no blue electric utility vehicle. I found out yesterday it will be _________ color. ;) They could not find a blue one and did not want to wait in the production line so they took one that was canceled by a dealer in Arizona. They were going to put a blue body on it when they got it but I told them the new color will work also.

Poured second cup of coffee. 33° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 66° with lots of sun. Up to early for Mountain time zone. Another good travel day yesterday. Going to do local tourist things today.
Loren, missed welcoming you to Good Morning. :welcome:
RS, organization if you are going to live in a motorhome for 4 months has to be controlled. I cannot believe how much stuff my wife has packed in cabinets by the time we get home in the spring.
Good Morning All.

32 this morning and headed to 62 today.

Well I heeded the advice of this group. Didn't do any cleaning yesterday. But did install the new washer and do a load of laundry. Actually I had enough breakdowns yesterday that I didn't have time to clean. Today will be just as bad I'm afraid.

Have two barns of chickens to migrate today. Then maybe pond pump work will fall into place. I'm hoping as I'm on county water and well with this many mouths it gets pricey. Although good to keep lines flushed and cleaned with. If nothing else fails maybe I can get back to building.

Called about tractor yesterday. It's at dealer with mower hooked up. And everything is done except they are waiting on the second rear remote valve that seems to be back ordered. Kubota is telling him mid week. So he's hoping for a end of the week delivery.

Eric. My dog does the same thing. As he spends most of his days under the covers shivering. Good thing he hasn't ever slept outside he'd freeze to death.

Good Morning! 48F @ 6:45AM. A mix of clouds and sun. High 63F. Winds light and variable.

Eric, I think you should follow Dog's example, at least once in a while.

RS I like your layout. Been working on something similar on and off for the new shop building, and will steal your number and legend scheme. Thanks for the idea!

Poor idling and starting was traced to my not setting the float level in the carbs. I'd put it off due to the mess involved, then forgotten about it. Took care of it last night and ended up with a half pint of gasoline in an old tomato sauce can, just begging to start a camp fire, so I did. POOF! Instant fire. After another round of head torquing and valve setting we'll see this afternoon if that's the only issue.

Will spend some time battening down the hatches for what might be the wettest and whitest storm yet this year, due in tomorrow night. Might be as much as two inches of rain in this one, but then I've heard that before. Barely a drop in the bucket compared to those Texas and Virgina storms, but it has people pretty excited here.
