Do you read or just look at pics?
Yes, what I posted has bearing on the discussion and it addressed the quoted text shown above my reply.
Tug of war? We'll accept that challenge.

Oh, I read it. Apparently you didn't read the objections to your previous response and went about continuing the argument against the points you think you can defend.
JIC nor NPT are stressed connection types. NEITHER ONE! One being superior to the other in an unfit application has not been shown. One being superior to the other in a "works better" has not been shown either. Your only defense of using the NPT is that you think it's better and you claim it costs more. JIC is inherently less prone to leaking, because NPT requires the use of sealant to ensure galling doesn't destroy it's threads and ultimately the dope is more likely to be holding pressure than a metal-to-metal seal (which every other modern coupler uses short of the O rings).
Once again, you're arguing someone who's not here, and you're not arguing the discussion that's been raised.
It's been mentioned several times on this forum, that if you happen to get your connections stuck you crack the fitting to bleed pressure so you can hook them up to your tractor. Some mention doing this at the threads rather than at the quick connector. If you're reseating an NPT fitting over and over, it will wear out! This is why it's not a superior fitting standard.
You're the one claiming it's best here. You have the burden of proof why. You've failed that, and keep harping about it. Ted could've designed the **** things for all I care and NPT would still be inferior to a 37 degree flare.

Travis, I know you mean well. But when you start threads like this you appear to be arrogant and egotistical. Calm down. Reread your posts before hitting the post reply button. Why not just sit back and let your equipment speak for itself?? You don't have to "sell" your products here if they are as good as you claim. Just think a little before starting. Try to look at what you type from other's perspective. Calm down.
