When your retired and on the well known fixed budget, Cost Price Value is always the driver in a purchase. If you are going to make your living with something that is one thing but if you are going to use it now and then something a bit less works fine.
Like SnapOn tools and Harbor Freight tools. They both will work just one will hold up longer and one cost way less than the other.

The very detailed description of this issue, by Travis, in his post, is interesting, but the bottom line here is:
I AM 75 years old, I AM retired, I DO have a fixed income, and the King Kutter tiller I bought, cost me $710 less than the EXACT SAME King Kutter tiller would have cost from EA.
There is NO explanation necessary for me!
Exact SAME product, with EXACT SAME warranty, for $710 less is where I will always buy a particular product.
On a future item....perhaps the price would be competitive, but it MUST be competitive for me to be a buyer.
I am not looking to buy a friendship......I simply want to buy a quality manufactured product.
I like my King Kutter tiller ( though the paint job stinks).

I can afford to buy what I want at a given price, so long as I see the value in the product. I'm not cheap as some people call others. And I don't diss folks for doing everything in their power to save money, especially if it's the exact same item from two different sources.
I actually admire those who can find and buy an item at a rock bottom price, because I respect their efforts to not waste money when buying.

Now I have a beef with slamming Titan and calling it rusty Chinese junk. I have a Titan tree shear, and it is one of the strongest, most solidly built implements I own. There are NO bogus welds, there is NO rust, and the one thing that might have been missed during assembly, that broke, is a pin to lock the rotation of the shear from horizontal to vertical. Titan sent me a replacement part, within a reasonable timeframe.

I have a SSQA log grapple made by Igland of Norway, along with their winch; and those are robust, cut no corner attachments that are not inexpensive, but aren't overpriced, IMHO.
The log grapple is around 350 pounds, as I recall, but unfortunately wouldn't fit the OP's tractor because of the QA fitment.

If I were the OP I'd buy the best product I could afford from the company that could provide the best fit/finish, and ease of use for my needs, tool.
Location, S/H and other factors would come into play too. Research, research, research, is my mantra when it comes to buying implements for my Kioti. (Similar to location when it comes to real estate).
There are a lot of choices, not all easily discernable as to what's best in class, but listening to happy buyers of equipment is more fortuitous than sellers hawking their product like Monty Hall, IMHO.:shocked::thumbsup:
good luck to the OP- let us know what you decide, or any further questions you have. We equipment owners have no axe to grind or justify.

You have praised our attachments in the past, but now you want us up on a pedestal in the middle of town. You've trashed us in 2 different threads this year.

I am in the market for a 16 x 18" 3pt Cat1 box frame disc harrow, and am torn between Taylor Pittsburgh and Everything Attachments.
I know I can buy the TP disc for less,( waiting for Rural King 10% off sale) but depending on the actual $ difference, I might opt for the EA disc.
I bought a King Kutter rear blade last spring (didn't know about EA then), and what a piece of junk that is, compared to your EA blade.
KK parts (welding) alignment is poor, and paint is non-existent in difficult to reach areas, plus, ...... the KK blade is a total PIA to offset adjust.
Taylor Pittsburgh is a bit worrisome to me, as I learned their Cat1 233 series disc harrows are now built for them by King Kutter.
I am NOT considering their 233 series though, so hopefully, their other Cat1 3pt models, are still built in house.
I was considering taking a trip up (from Fl.) to Newton, NC., to look around at EA.
I think you have saved me from making that trip.
Now,.... I just need to make a decision!

Take a look at the grader blade video on the Everything Attachments website.
They have an excellent blade design, that looks very easy to use for both grading and ditching.
I have a new 84" King Kutter blade, but the EA blade is a superior design.
If I were buying again, I would definitely buy the EA blade!

Sometimes we are willing to sacrifice $$ for support. One must also consider if you will be using the item a lot and if it's tax deductible.

I lost the set of shims from my Pat's Easy Change in a move. Emailed greenwell explaining what I lost and that I wanted to order another set of shims. The reply was "what's your mailing address" and I had them in a few days NO CHARGE.

I often go for the lowest price to stretch my dollars. However I am willing to pay more for support, good service, reliability.

My comments on this thread were ONLY about pricing: EA v/s the other guys, and only for my experience buying a King Kutter tiller, at $710 less than the EA price, for the EXACT same King Kutter tiller.
Now Travis accuses me of having an axe to grind (Travis: "I think there is more to the story").
My last year comments as quoted by Travis are 100% POSITIVE for EA, but somewhat critical of King Kutter.
Travis thinks those POSITIVE comments about EA "trashed" EA?
Huh ???
Guess I need to check the thesaurus for a new definition of "trashed".

Yes, it seems like bashing/trashing(thesaurus) when you say things like this. Posted 5 days ago in another thread(unrelated to tillers) when a member posted links to our website.

All the hoopla aside, the FACT is:
"You can buy every BRAND NAME product that EA sells, for LESS money ELSEWHERE".
That is simply a FACT, based on THEIR advertised pricing!

Agree completely- this seems to be the battle cry of those slamming other sellers products- sometimes it's true- often it's not.

I did not mention support specifically, though I did include reference to 'other factors' which could include support as a consideration. I'm not sure what your point is about support possibly costing a company "a lot in both man hours and parts?" To me, it's a cost of being in business. Without customer service, many businesses will fail. Some might consider it a necessary evil, from a business owner's point of view, I consider it essential to maintaining satisfied customers.

However I am willing to pay more for support, good service, reliability.

Agreed, these are all valid and important considerations.
