I was thinking the same thing. Hope he's OK, I guess he sometimes overdoes it looking at his task accomplishment lists.


Same for KiotiKowboy, haven't heard from him either. Saw he last posted Dec 27th, and he's building a new home. Hope the business of building is all that's keeping him offline.


Thanks for all the well wishes. My wifey made me some good old Quaker oatmeal. I love that stuff. I've always been a sucker for breakfast carbs. Cream of Wheat, Malto Meal, Bisquik pancakes, waffles or biscuits. Anyone else?

I just wish my headache and gut ache would subside.

Good Morning. Cool front came in last night. 56˚ heading to 70˚ sunny. Kyle do you have the same thing your son had? Keep hydrated.

I got the Farmall back together by noon and was mowing yesterday. The new parts are working good - no slippage. It only took me 3 months to recover from that bad week when everything broke, golf cart/Farmall/presssure washer.

I went to the mailbox after fixing the Farmall and Hustler is recalling my Fastrack for an "Upgrade" to be preformed "IMMEDIATELY". I wonder what that is all about? They just call it a "CAMPAIGN SB536".

Don, it seems 2 kids only had a rough 6 hour period, my son had the most similar symptoms (vomiting and diarrhea) but he rebounded in about 18 hours. The kids have all had the nasal flu mist, but I had the shot. Not sure if that matters. Been drinking water.

After eating the oatmeal, I gained back a whopping 0.2 lbs. Yeah!

I'm guessing that Fastrak recall to be safety related. Maybe not. Too bad they didn't have a Farmall recall to replace steering tie rods and ball joints.

39° going into the low 50's. Tomorrow is going to be near 70° with wind and lots of rain. Got one of my buildings partially cleaned out, ran the electric but still have to put lights in my new tractor shed.

Hope you're feeling a little bit better, Kyle, and that bug moves on pronto. A flu shot is no guarantee you won't get sick. But if you get a strain of flu that it covers, your symptoms will be milder. But because it's impossible to put something for every strain in one shot, if one of the out liers gets you, you get a little help but not much. Even so, I still get a flu shot every year. I'm no doctor, but I've had food poisoning before, and I felt pretty much the same way you do now. You haven't been eatin' your own cookin' again, have you? :laughing:

Since the urologist slapped on a low oxalate diet to combat kidney stones, my favorite nut rich granola has been replaced with plain old rolled oats. I dress it up with a sliced banana, but it's a poor substitute even though it will stick with me until lunch. The Internist has me on a low fat/cholesterol diet, so there went the eggs and buttered toast. And salt's supposed to be bad for the stones, too, so there went the bacon. Breakfasts around here just aren't the same anymore. :thumbdown::confused2:
